Step II.Presentation 1. Show some pictures about the new words on the screen and then ask the Ss to read and repeat. shake, milk shake, blender, turn on, peel,pour Correct their pronunciation if possible.2.Teach Activity 1a. Show the pictures with the blanks on the screen as shown on Ss books. Ask Ss to say what they seeIn the picture. Ask the Ss to write the names of the actions on the blanks lines.Give one sample answer. Then ask Ss to fill in the blanks on their own. Ask a student who finishes first to write the answer on the Bb. Check the answers on the Bb and ask Ss to correct their own answers.Show a language point and explain it. turn on 指 打开有电源 ,煤气或自来水的开关。其反义词组为:turn off.StepIII. PresentationTeach Activity 1b.Point out the actions in the picture and the list of actions in Activity 1b.Ask different Ss to look at the picture and tell what is happening. Then check the answers.Teach Activity 1cAsk the Ss to read the instructions in the correct order.Make sure the Ss understand the task.Ask the Ss to make their own conversations .They can take the sample convasertion in the box as a sample. Give them enough time to do it. Finally ,invite some pairs to act out for the whole class. Step Game Ask some pairs to act the process about making the banana milk shake. While theyare acting ,they should speak what they have learned in this class.Step Listening 1. T: Now listen to the recording and circle the predictions you hear in 1a. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and circle the predictions. 3. Play the recording again. Check the answers with the Ss. Step Pair work 1. Let Ss read the first conversation in 1c after the teacher. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and ask them to write the words about 2b. 3. Play the recording again to check the answers. Work on 2b: 1. Let Ss read the sentences below. Explain some main sentences for the Ss. Make sure they know what to do. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to check what they hear. 3. Play the recording again to check the answers. Step. Pair work 2c1. Tell Ss ask and answer questions about the ingredent in 2a and 2b. 2. Let Ss read conversation in 2c first after the teacher. 3. Ss talk about the ingredents with the information in 2a and 2b. 4. Ask some pairs to act their conversations. Step. Role-play 2d1. Read the conversations and answer the questions: 1)How many bananas do we need? 2) How much yogurt do we need?2. Explain some new words and main points in the conversation. 3. Read the conversation after the teacher. 4. Practice the conversation with their partner. Then let some pairs to act out the conversation. Step Homework: 1.
