Teach kids to be careful with the traffic rules and let them obey the traffic rules and how to build a harmonious relationship with others . Warm up the class by asking the questions below :How do you go to school ?How long does it take you to go to school ?How far is it from your home to school ? 3.Lead to todays lesson : T:For many students, is it easydifficult to get to school ? S:Easy . T:However , it is really difficult for some kids from small mountain village to get to school .Now I will introduce a little boy named Liang liang to you.Part II Go for reading A. While-reading Read the passage on page 17 and answer the questions below .1.How do the students in the village go to school ? (They go on a ropeway to cross the river to school .)2.Why do they go to school like this ? (Because there is a big river between their school and village .There is no bridge and the river runs too quickly for boats .)T:Are you afraid ? Ss:Yes, its not safe dangerous . T:If you are Liangliang or other kids in the village , do you want to go to school , what do you think of your school life ? Ss:3.Does the boy like his school ? Why ?(Yes ,he does .Because he loves to play with his classmates .And he loves his teacher.)4.What is the villagers dream ? Do you think their dream can come true ? Why or why not ? And you are asking Liangliang about how he gets to school .Work in pairs and finish your report .You must have these phrases and sentences in your report how to go to school , how far it is , how long it takes , why they go on a ropeway to cross the river to school , what he thinks of his school, teachers and classmates what his dream is .Part III Proposal倡议书Write a proposal to help Liangliang and his villagers to build a bridge and make their dream come true .You can be Liangliang or his pen pal .
