新目标英语下册unit5 Why do you like pandas?教材整合1 Speaking 教学设计延安市安塞县沿河湾中学 王 欢一、设计思路人教版教材充分体现新课改的指导思想,其对话编排几乎都是从生活实际需要出发,生活气息浓厚,让学生能掌握生活中基本的常识交流,发展他们自主学习的能力,形成有效的学习策略。本节课根据学生自身实际与学情现状,对教材内容进行摘取、整合,单独训练学生“说”的一堂课。课堂中,学生需要认识各种动物,并创设情景,学生能够谈论自己喜欢的动物以及阐述喜欢的原因,教学中的各项活动都围绕动物展开。学生们运用英语简单描述自己喜欢的动物,进一步培养和激发他们热爱动物、保护动物、维护生态平衡的朴素情怀。二、教学目标 1知识与能力 (1)Master the vocabulary: koala,tiger,elephant, panda,lion, giraffe, zoo, first, cute, fun, interesting, smart,lazy, beautiful (2)Master and use: -What animals do you like? -I like lions. -Why do you like lions? -Because they are cute-Where are they from? -They are from South Africa.-Ok. Lets see the lions2过程与方法 由迪士尼歌曲Old Macdonald Had A Farm,引出animal,并让学生判别歌曲中动物的叫声导入更多的动物!引入句型“What animals do you like?” “Why do you like *?” 然后带学生走进动物乐园!介绍部分有关动物名称的新单词,学生在学习后,已具备了相当的语言基础,且学生有了学习的兴趣,愿主动参与本课话题。教学充分利用学生作品图画和多媒体,创设情景让学生主动学习,小组互助学习。 3情感与评价 熟知动物相关词汇,培养与动物的情感,了解部分动物的处境,分析原因,评判行为,培养学生热爱动物,保护动物,从自我做起。4现代教学手段的运用(l)充分利用学生画作和教学图片,循序渐进地进行单词教学。(2)借助多媒体手段和大量的口语练习进行语言项目的教学。三、教学重点和难点1The vocabulary 2Express preferences and give reasons3. Greetings-Good afternoon, boys and girls.-Good afternoon,teacher.2. Song to lead-in Play a song Old Macdonald Had A Farm,引出animal,并让学生判别歌曲中出现的动物叫声导入更多的动物!Teacher says “Boys and girls, do you like this song? What does it sing about?” Students answer and act the sound. 之后,引导学生说说自己喜欢的动物及原因Do you like animals? Yes, I do. No, I dont.What animals do you like? I like dogs.Why do you like dogs? Because theyre very cute.Why dont you like tigers? Because theyre kind of scary.(问答进行多组,为情景对话做好铺垫)Today, we will get to know much more friend animals. Show the title of unit5.开始新内容的介绍。Step2 Presentation(1) WordsShow colorful pictures to learn much more words about animals.(2)Word game(游戏-说与做)Game rules: If teacher says word once, students should say it three times; if teacher says word twice, students should stand up and say it twice; if teacher says word three times, students should still sit and use their books to cover their faces.Step3 PracticeTask1 Pair work Teacher says ”We have so many friend animals. What animals do you like? Why do you like them? Talk about them with your partners.老师与学生组合给出示范,之后学生自己两两为一组,编排对话,之后请部分组合上讲台表演。Task2 Group work1. Ask the students to imagine “ We are in the zoo. There is a map of the zoo. And there are many kinds of animals.Talk about what animals you want to see.出示黑板另一侧事先准备好的、由学生画作创作的动物园地图,创设情景,谈论和朋友一起逛动物园。 For example :A: Lets see the lions first. B: Why? ( why do you /does she /does he like lions?) A: Because they are interesting. B: But I want to see pandas first. Theyre very cute and kind of shy.C: Really? Well, I want to see giraffes. I think theyre very beautiful.D: Ooh, lets see them one by one.C: That sounds good. Lets go. 2. Ss use the target languages to talk about animals. After practicing, please some groups to perform their conversations in front of the blackboard.(情景对话)通过不同形式的对话,让学生从练习“说”中认识动物,喜爱动物,最后感知:“Animals are our friends.”Task3Introduce your own petShow a picture of the rabbit. And give a sample about introducing your own pet. Like this:I have a pet. Its a rabbit. Its name is XiaoQiang. He likes eating carrots and greens. He also likes sleeping. What about your own pet?学生已经对动物有了较为深刻的认识,培养了对动物一定的好感与喜爱,已经具备独自介绍自己家中宠物的能力,通过介绍自己家中养的小动物,让学生感知:“Pets are our family memebers.” 升华情感!Step4 ConsolidationTask1Modal teachingPlay a flash. Some animals are in great danger. Students deeply know animals are our good friends, and even family members. But when the animals are endangered, what can we do ? How can we help them? (学生讨论)Lets save them and take good care of them together. Come on! (通过flash动画,唤起学生保护动物的意识,让学生的情感得到升华,完成情感目标。)Task2SummaryUse mind map to summary the whole class, including key words and target languages.Step5 Homework* Recite all the key words* Make up a conversation by introducing your favorite animal.六、教学反思本节课的内容是认识动物,谈论自己对动物的喜好及喜爱的原因。在教学中,我采用了本县提倡的“教材整合”教学法,第一节为口语训练。先由含有大量动物叫声的歌曲导入,引起学生注意,使学生愿意走进动物的课堂。后教授新单词时,采用了一个小游戏,进一步激发学生兴趣,让学生化被动参与为主动加入!整堂课旨在训练目标语言“What animals do you like?” “Why do you like them?” “Where are they from?”为贯穿线,学生为主体,教师做主导,让生生愿意开口说,生生开口有话讲,有机的将学生能力和教材整合进行默契衔接,调动了学生积极参与教学活动的积极性,自愿配合,主动学习。把学生引向了英语对话的自由交流中,使学生自由交谈,互相合作交流学习,最后创设情景,进行实景模拟。pairwork和groupwork,是恰如其分的输出。课堂环环紧扣,将个人的爱好恰当表达,课堂有张有弛,培养了学生语言的运用能
