Want to be . What, How questions2. Ability objective(s): 听 能听懂谈论有关人生理想的词汇及表达。 说 能运用目标语言进行有关人生理想的谈论。 写 能运用正确的语言结构写一篇题为 “Dream jobs”的小组报告。3. Emotional objective(s): 通过谈论将来打算做什么以及准备怎样实现目标,让学生考虑自己的将来,及早为将来做好准备。培养学生学习英语的兴趣,乐于参加各种活动的积极情感,善于合作,培养学生团结协作精神。Key points & difficult points Key points: vocabulary, target language, grammar and structure in this unit. Difficult points: Use the simple future tense to talk about their dream jobs and how they are going to realize their dream.1 Task for this whole periodDo a survey about their dream jobs and write a report according to the survey.3P teaching steps (Teaching procedures)Step 1 Preparation (5-8分钟)Activity 1 Greeting Greet with the whole class as usual. Activity 2 Warming up Sing and dance to the song The more we get together. 设计思路:营造和谐的课堂气氛,激发学生的兴趣,调动起学生的积极性,消除学生对新老师的陌生感,拉近师生关系,使他们的思维进入兴奋状态,为开展新的语言项目的学习做好心理上的准备。Step 2 Presentation & Practice (20分钟)Activity 1 Guessing gameFirst, get students to play a game. Guess! Whos he? And what does he do?从大家喜欢的明星入手,吸引学生的注意力,在谈话中复习前面学过的内容,减少本课时学习的难度。Activity 2 Brainstorm: Miss Lis dream jobsTell students that Miss Li has five dream jobs, such as actress. And ask them to brainstorm the other dream jobs.以一个特定话题为切入口, 挖掘各种有用的信息形成思路,从而拓宽学生想象和思考空间,激活学生。Activity 3 Learning new words1. Show the pictures of the jobs that appear in 1a.Read each word to the class. Lead them to read again and again till they can read these new words fluently. 利用多媒体展示图片引入新词汇,直观、形象,印象深刻。2. Memory challenge:show the pictures of the jobs. And give them about 1 minute to remember them in their brain without writing any notes.以游戏的方式改变呆板,枯燥的词汇记忆和巩固方式,使词汇学习的知识性和趣味性结合为一体。Activity 4 Learning target language1. Present the new target language: What are you going to be when you grow up? How are you going to do that? And Ss answer the questions freely. Then learn to answer the question: What are you going to be when you grow up? 2. Listening practice: listen to the tape and judge the sentences are true or false according to the conversations.在初步熟悉对话的基础上做听力练习,跟读对话,既达到了口语训练的目的,也达到了巩固重点句型的效果。3. Do a game named Super reporter. Ask students to be a reporter and ask their classmates dream jobs. The more, the better.在练习课本对话的基础上,操练自己的对话,最后通过超级采访的游戏活动是学生能够脱离课本进行对话,以达到口语训练的真正目的。Step 3 Production (15-20分钟) 语言活动操作程序:1 Ask students to do a survey in their own group, and complete the survey chart. For example: A asks B, then A should write down Bs answer. B asks C, then B should write down Cs answer. 2 Write down a report according to the survey. Every group member should write at least two sentences.3 Ask a student to give a talk in half of his/her group. Homework Improve your composition where possible.
