Unit 10 If you go to the party, youll have a great time!Section A2 (Grammar Focus-3c) 教学设计阳春市实验中学 初二英语 李夏萍一、教材分析本课时的内容是学习if 引导下的条件状语从句的语法知识。学习的重点是教会学生如何准确的用if 表达条件,用will表达结果。理解表达条件是需用一般现在时。结果常用一般将来时。二、教学设计思想 在学习本堂课之前,学生对Section A 设定的派对情景比较熟悉,故本堂课的设计跳离了Section A 设定的语法情景,而是结合实际,选取了初二学生在该学段一些真实的生活场景作为本堂语法课的题材。这样大大丰富了学生的运用范围,既贴近生活,又降低了口头表达的难度。在设计教学内容的过程注重过渡,让课堂环节紧扣由浅入深。同时在课堂中穿插了大量的游戏比赛环节,练习语法的内容形式多样,采用齐答,抢答,讨论和团队合作的形式,使得枯燥的语法课变得活泼生动起来,大大提高了学生的参与度,同时也培养了学生爱思考的习惯。三、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:能掌握以下句型:1. If it rains, I will stay at home. (主将从现)2. If he comes, please let me know. (主祈从现)3. If you come first, you can order the food. (主情从现)能够熟练运用所学的知识,用if来表达条件,用will来表达结果。 2. 情感态度价值观目标: 学习因果关系的表达和做出合理的建议。谈论自己的感受,同时使学生在英语交流中注意并观察他人的情感。本单元话题贴近学生生活,符合他们热爱休闲的心理,可以提高他们学习英语的兴趣,积极参与英语实践活动。四、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 能够熟练运用所学的知识,用if来表达条件,用will来表达结果2) 复习巩固Section A 部分及之前几个单元所学的生词和词组,达到熟练运用的目标。2. 教学难点:1) 掌握正确用含if条件状语从句的主从句。2) 能够熟练运用所学的知识,用if来表达条件,用will来表达结果。3) 粗略了解if 引导条件状语从句和宾语从句的区别五、教学过程. Lead-in Watch a video of Peppa Pig (Lunch) and ask Ss questions like this:T: If you prepare for lunch, what will you buy? S: If I prepare for lunch, I will buy. (onion, beef, chicken, lettuces, tomato, turkey)【设计说明】Peppa Pig 是本班学生每一节课课前5分钟的固定动画片时间,选择小猪佩奇的英文原版动画,是因为学生很熟悉,而且上课时间接近中午,选择LUNCH这个故事刚好切合学生的实际情况。提前学生的同时也可以练习设定的主将从现的句型。当有学生说If I prepare for lunch, I will buy some beef立即引出后续内容。IITry to understandShow the sample sentence “If I prepare for lunch, I will buy some beef” and lead Ss to think about the rules of “主将从现” by asking questions like this:T: When will you prepare your lunch?S: After class T: Not now, right? S: Yeah. T: So why we use present tense to express something happen in the future?S: .(thinking)At this time, Teacher will explain the concept of “主将从现”in Chinese and teach Ss how to distinguish the main clause and the subordinate clause.【设计说明】由于所教学生基础很差,必须说明主将从现的语法原则的由来,教会学生如何分清主从句才能让学生真正明白何为“主将从现”。为后续内容的理解奠定基础。III. ExerciseAsk Ss to find out the the subordinate clause of the following sentences:1. If you take the bus to the party, youll be late.2. You will be sorry if you dont go to the party,.3. If you go to the party with Tom, youll have a good time.4. What will happen if it rains?Keys: the underline part【设计说明】强化主从句的区分技巧,if后面部分为从句(即条件),主句是剩余部分(即结果)。纠正部分基础差的学生“前从后主”或“后从前主”的错误观念,最后一句What will happen if it rains? 引出下面关于下雨的生活情景的内容。IV. More Exercise1. Games: Help the frog. Ask Ss to help the little frog go to the top to meet Peppa through an answering race. Try to understand“主祈从现”&“主情从现”Show the following sentences and lead Ss to understand the concept of “主祈从现”&“主情从现”by asking Ss questions.If you are happy and know it, clap your hands.= Clap your hand if you are happy and know it.主句(祈使句) 从句(一般现在时)- “主祈从现”Exercise: Get up early if you (not want) to be late.Key: dont wantIf you are happy and know it, you can clap your hands. = You can clap your hand if you are happy and know it.主句(情态动词+动词原形) 从句(一般现在时)- “主情从现”其他情态动词:must, may, have toExercise: He can pass the exam, if he (study) hard.【设计说明】“主祈从现”&“主情从现” 这两个概念与“主将从现”类似,学生有了前面的基础能比较容易理解,练习较少,一笔带过,该部分用一问一答的形式帮助学生理解这两个概念。IX. SummaryAsk Ss to match three rules “主将从现”,“主祈从现”&“主情从现”with the following sentences and let Ss to make a summary by themselves.4. If it rains, I will stay at home.5. If he comes, please let me know.6. If you come first, you can order the food.Keys: 1. “主将从现” 2. “主祈从现” 3.“主情从现”【设计说明】对这堂课的基础知识进行总结,给学生一个清晰的脉络,为接下来的游戏环节做准备。X. Games: Lucky NumberIn this game, Ss who put up hands can choose a number. two of them are lucky numbers. If you choose one, you can just get a big gift without answering any question. If not, you have to answer it.1. 用单词的适当形式填空:If the light _(be) red, you must stop walking.2. 单句改错:If he isnt come, we will go to the beach.3. 单项选择:You will see many aunts dancing together on the square if it _ in the evening. Ill tell you if she _.A. comes, comes B .will come, will come C. comes, will come D. will come, comes【设计说明】本游戏环节一共有6个幸运号码,但无论学生选取哪一个,PPT都设定为第一个选号码的学生直接拿礼品,不用回答问题。这样能大大提高学生回答后续问题的积极性。之后中间再穿插一个幸运号码活跃课堂气氛。题目形式多样,目的还是锻炼巩固学生本堂课的知识。由于学生基础薄弱,题目的设定不会太难,但又比之前难度稍大。最后一题难度最大,也是本堂课的难点。PPT 设定无论学生选哪个号码都自动跳转为这一题。确保与后续内容过渡自然。XI. 主将从现原则不适用的情况 (difficult point)Ask Ss to compare sentence 1 with sentence 2. and translate the following sentences into Chinese.E.g. Ill tell you if she comes.如果她来我会告诉你。I dont know if she will come tomorrow. 我不知道她明天是否回来。Conclusion: 当if 翻译成“是否”时,主将从现原则不适用【设计说明】这个环节的本质是区分if 引导时间状语从句和if 引导宾语从句的区别。但初二的学生并没有学到宾语从句的内容,而且基础薄弱,所以引导学生从中文角度理解,简单解释为当if 翻译成“是否”时,主将从现原则不适用。XII: Team WorkThe whole will be devided into 4 groups. Every member of each other work together and finish the following exercise. Teacher will ask one student to fill in one blank.
