unit 10 youre supposed to shake hands.section b 1a1d一、【教材分析】教学目标知识目标1. 让学生能听、说、读、写下列词汇和短语。empty adj. 空的,空洞的 stick into ; hit an empty bowl; 2. 让学生学习并掌握下列句型:1) you arent supposed to .2) its polite to3) you shouldnt do3. 让学生学会固定短语be supposed to do 的用法、句型结构与转换。能力目标能够正确描述自己或他人在不同场合应该做什么。情感目标通过本课的学习,讨论不同国家的风俗习惯,尊重各国风俗文化差异。教学重点掌握本课生词、短语;掌握形容词的运用;完成本课听力训练教学难点教师怎样使学生能够在口笔头方面掌握这些短语和句型,同时使学生的听力和口头表达得到提高。教学方法听说练习-听前预测-听中思考-听后总结阅读听力材料二、【教学流程】环节师生活动二次备课i. 复习热身课前3分钟检查单词预习情况,教师根据学生读的状况,适当领读,帮助学生正音。1. free talk “自由交际” get the students to answer the following questions:1) what are people in korea supposed to do when they are at table?2) what kind of rules do they have in the usa when they are at table?3) what are you supposed to do when you are at table in china? ii. 感知体验1. learning tasks“示标定向” 出示这节课的三维学习目标。1)学习并掌握下列单词:empty adj. 空的,空洞的 2) 学习并掌握下列常用表达:stick into ; hit an empty bowl; 3) 学习并掌握下列句型:(1) you arent supposed to .(2) its polite to(3) you shouldnt do2. leading-in“导入新课”1)处理教材1a(1) point to the picture and ask students to say what is happening in it.(2) point to the title, mind your manners! and ask students what they think it might mean.(3) read the instructions and point to the five statements about manners.(4) then ask students to complete the quiz on their own.(5) 提问学生说出答案,教师同时教如下的短语:(教师结合一些句子口头造句)at the table / at table 在桌子旁边/ 在吃饭its not polite to laugh at table.the little boy is doing his homework at the table.pick up 拾起,捡起/ 取物,接人the boy picked up the hat for the old man.the bus stopped to pick up passengers.be supposed to 应该,被期望she is late for class again and she is supposed to say sorry to the teacher.iii. 强化巩固1. 机械操练 (mechanical drills) 1) 处理教材中的1b(1) 结合图画简介对话内容:look at the four pictures. you will hear the exchange student steve, talking with his japanese friend, satoshi. satoshi is explaining some things you are and arent supposed to do when eating in japan. point to the boxes where students are supposed to write a number next to each picture. say, number these 1 through 3 to show the order you hear satoshi talk about, these things in the recording.(2) 放录音,学生做题。(3) 检查答案。2) 处理教材中的1c(1) 放一遍录音,让学生回答:what does satoshi feel nervous about?(2) 再放一遍录音,让学生做题。(到关键句时停顿一下,给学生思考和做题的时间。)(3) 检查答案,并板书三个重点句然后进行分析,学生读。重点句:you arent supposed to its polite to you shouldnt2. explain:1) its politeto do做是礼貌的这一句型真正的主语是不定式,it只是形式主语。如: its rude to point your chopstick at others. 用筷子指着别人是不礼貌的。2) point at anyone with your chopsticks. 用筷子指着某人。(1) pointat瞄准,对着。如: point a telescope at the moon 让望远镜对着月亮。(2) point to 指向;表示。如: both the hour hand and the minute hand pointed to twelve. 时针和分针都指着十二。3. 让学生读听力材料,记课本上的句子。2. 有意义操练 (meaningful drills) 1d role-play the conversations.a: were supposed to .b: yes, and its impolite to .3. 交际性操练 (communicative drills)imagine you go to a place, then role-play the conversation.a: how much do you know about table manners in japan?b: youre not supposed to start eating first if there are older people at the table in japan.iv. 实践应用1. listening practice:activity 1c: listen to the conversations and complete the sentences. 朗读1c句子,明确其含义。2. role-play the conversations using the information in 1c and 1d.v. 总结反馈1. 引导学生小结梳理知识框架、规律、方法,并对合作小组当堂学习情况进行总结评价,巩固学生所获得的语言知识和经验,让学生在评价中反思,在反思中进步。ask one of the students to say what they have learnt.1)words 2) phrases 3) sentences2. 当堂检测(见学案):教师要随堂进行评价,批改可以由学习小组内互批、组间互批、集体订正等方法,批阅后教师要统计达标情况,收集反馈信息,当堂矫正补救。vi. 作业 布置1. 口头作业: 听并跟读录音, 练习对话, 背笔记。2. 书面作业: remember the new words. finish off the exercises. preview the new
