Oh, its the Great Wall.Now let us have a chant(节奏): This is the Great Wall. Its very beautiful. Its long and old. And we love it all.T: Wow,you are great! the Great Wall is long.How long is it ? Simon and Daming are talking ,so lets listen to the tape.Step2: Listen, read and act out. (1) Listen to the tape and answer the question: How long is it?(2) Read this dialogue with deskmate. answer the question:How big is NewYork? How big is Beijing? (3) Act out :Have a reading show.New words and sentences.Are they beautiful? Now, lets play a guessing game.T: (Take one postcard) please guess what it is about? Canada is north of America and Mexico is south of America. 2 了解句子中的逻辑重音。3 能够随着韵律熟练朗读Chant。能力目标:1 提高合作能力,能根据短文内容提问并予以回答。2讲述某地的地理位置和相关的基本信息。情感目标:感受异域文化的同时,激发学生对自己祖国的热爱。教学难点分析教学重点、难点 :让学生学会看地图,从地图上找到某一个地方,指出并说出其位置和相关信息。教学难点:运用所学句式进行综合性的表达。教具PPT、点读机Teaching Procedures 教学流程:Step1: Warming up :1) Greetings:2) Enjoy a chant:T: Now let us have a chant(节奏): East,east,east North,north,northWest,west,west, South,south,southEast-west North-SouthWhere are we? Where is your pen friend from?2.任务呈现与课文导入l老师出示Simon的图片,向学生提问:Who is he? 学生回答:Hes Simon. Hes Damings cousin.再问:Where is he from?学生回答:Hes from New York, America.出示美国地图并向学生提问:This is a map of America. Can you find New York?引导学生在地图上找到纽约的位置.3.课文教学在地图上标注east, south, west, north,帮助学生复习这些单词,并注意纠正他们的发音.老师领读后,根据口令做动作,例如:Please turn to north. Please turn to South. Please turn to east Please turn to west.老师放录音,学生边听边看SB2Unit 2活动2的地图,把录音中提到的美国城市和国家名称写在黑板上.再放录音,请学生跟读.通过问答展现句型Where is New York? Its in the east of America. What about San Francisco? Its in the west of America.学生们掌握本语言点后,老师教授第二种位置表达法.老师说:”Where is Canada? Its north of America. Where is Mexico? Its in the east/west/north/south of China/UN.教学反思Teaching planTeam:六年级 Author: 魏加雯 Date:Team:六年级 Author: 魏加雯 Date:Module 2TopicUnit 1 Theres Chinese dancing总课时 数课时教学目标知识目标1、能掌握miss,sometimes,restaurant,really,dancing,square等单词。2、了解和认识美国的唐人街及相关的东方文化:Chinatown,chineseshops,chinese restaurants,chinese dancing。3、学会运用句型 Therebe结构来描述事物。能力目标: 1、通过放录音,分角色表演,分组朗读等活动多方面激发学生学习英语的求知欲,提高学生操练英语的能力。 2、通过肢体语言,展示相关图片等方式,让学生感受美国的唐人街及东方文化,学会用英语来描述相关的文化底蕴。情感目标 1、让学生了解异国的东方文化及背景。 2、让学生课堂上享受图片的美感,增强他们的艺术鉴赏力和欣赏力。教学难点分析教学重点掌握Therebe 句型来描述事物。教学难点学会用句型结构加以描述事物及在交际活动中操练和运用。教具点读机 PPT、Teaching Procedures Step1:Warm-up1、Greeting2、Singasong :HappyBirthdaytoYouStep2:RevisionT: 出示postcard,more,kilometre,million,Mexico,Canada等单词卡片。Ss:认读Step3:Presentation1、导入新知T:出示miss,sometimes,restaurant,really,dancing,square单词卡片,并让学生认读。T:Do you know Chinatown? S:No. (全体学生回答)T:Lets study together .Chinatown in America.美国的唐人街向我们展示了中国的东方文化,比如中国的商店,中国的饭店,中式的舞蹈等,并学会用英语加以描述相关的文化底蕴。(板书课题)2、新知教学 老师拿出一张纽约唐人街的图片,询问学生:Doyouknowwhereitis?Whatcanyouseeinthispicture ?请学生回答,有些学生可能对唐人街有所了解,肯定他们的发言及大胆尝试。3、学习新知 老师将本课的挂图帖在黑板上,或者是播放动画呈现活动1,让学生听Daming和Simon对话,判断Daming是否想念中国?通过对话“Do you miss China ? Sometimes.”引导学生作出肯定回答,引出“Chinatown”话题 Step4:Practice 1、老师提问:“WhereisChinatown?What is it like ?”再放一遍录音, 让学生看着书听,并从书上找出问题的答案,通过提问和引导等方式逐步引出文中,加以板书重点词句:There is a Chinatown in New York.There are lots of Chinese shops and restaurants there.There is Chinese dancing.2、学生掌握关于唐人街的背景文化后,老师放录音让学生逐句跟读课文。3、全班级分组(两组)分角色(Daming 和 Simon)朗读全文.4、请学生看SB活动中的插图,并试着描述图中有什么。鼓励学生大胆练习后放录音,引导学生回顾“There be ”句型,加以区别“thereis” 和“there are”的用法,最后两人一组做role-play。S1:There is a Chinatown in New York. (指着Chinatown的图)S2:There are lots of Chinese shops and restaurants there.
