(2) Learn to recognize and understand vocabulary about emotions.(3) Continue to learn “the object clauses,the adverbial clauses of time,the adverbial clauses of condition and so on.2.Skills: Improve the students abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing.3.Emotions: Cultivate the high emotions of learning and enjoying our lives.Difficulties:Learn the new words and understand what colours represent.Key points: Continue to learn “the object clauses, the adverbial clauses and so on.Teaching methods: discuss, ask and answer, practiceTeaching tools:a recorder, a tape, multimedia.Teaching procedure:Step 1 Review (相关词汇的提取)1.BrainstormingLet the students say colours they know as quickly as possible.For example:white red purple .2. The teacher says:whats your favorite colour? Why?S1: My favorite colour is red. Because it stands for passion.S2: My favorite colour is blue. Because its very beautiful. 3.Great,but do you know other meanings of colours?Do you know that colours can affect our moods? Ok,lets come to “colours and your moods”.Step 2 Presentation(信息的呈现与输入)1. Let the students read the article and underline the new words and phrases,then guess their meanings according to the context and the basic words.2. Show the wordlist on the screen and let them check. Pay more attention to the basic words:Pure-purity sleep-sleepy sad-sadness stress-stressed wise-wisdom 3. Listen to the tape and read aloud.Step 3 consolidation(生本互动,信息整合)1.
