The third period(第三课时)Part A Lets spell教学内容与目标课时教学内容课时教学目标Lets spell能够听懂会说会认书写单词“cat, bag, dad, hand”能够通过听例词发音,观察例词中共有的特征,感知并归纳字母a在单词中的发音规则;跟着录音说唱歌谣,强化记忆字母a的发音规则能够根据字母a的发音规则读出生词;通过完成读单词听录音并画圈的活动,强化记忆字母a的音形对应关系能够根据单词的读音拼写出符合发音规则的单词,并通过描红单词初步掌握单词的书写要求并辨认词形教学重点1.能够听懂会说会认书写单词“cat, bag, dad, hand”2.能够通过听例词发音,观察例词中共有的特征,感知并归纳元音字母a在单词中的发音规则教学难点能够归纳总结元音字母a在单词中的发音规则,并准确发音教学准备 PPT课件课文录音视频照片各国国旗等Teaching purpose通过与学生对话,复习上节课所学知识,继而以英语歌曲导入,营造英语教学氛围,复习26个字母的发音,为本课后面的学习做铺垫教学过程Step 1: Warm-up & Revision1.Greetings.2.Revision.The teacher holds the national flags of different countries, and leads students to introduce. Follow me, please.(Write down “cat” on the blackboard.)2.Learn the word “bag”.The teacher picks up one of the students bags.T: Look, whats this?Lead students to say “bag” or say it in Chinese.T: Wow! Youre so smart! Its a bagShow a picture of a bag on the PPT. (出示课件)T: Look at my mouth: /b/-/-/g/, bag. Follow me, please.(Write down “bag” on the blackboard.)3.Learn the word “dad”.Show a picture of the teacher and his/her father.T: Look, this is my father. Now listen to the recording, please. (播放课件)Step 3: Practice1.Listen to the chant. Dad has a black cat. The cat is in the bag.Dad has a black cat. The bag is in his hand. T: So can you find which letter is the same?Ss: Letter “a”.T: What is the sound?Ss: /.2.Read the chant.(1) Students read the chant and try to find out more words with the letter “a” that sounds “/”.(2) The teacher pays attention to students pronunciation and intonation.3.Summarize the pronunciation rule.The teacher leads students to summarize the pronunciation rule of the letter “a”.4.Read and play.Students read the words in the book. Then play a game: Train, train, train.T: Lets play a game! Now, the train is coming! Cat! Bag! Dad! Hand! Students read the words one by one.5.Chant and show.Teaching purpose在学生掌握字母a的发音规则后,再通过例词的拼读以及转盘游戏的操练,把课堂气氛推向高潮,强化学生记忆字母a的发音规则The teacher plays the video. (播放课件) Students chant in groups, then act it out.Step 4: Consolidation & Extension1.Read and practice.(1) Read the words.Show some new words with the letter “a” that sounds “/” on the PPT. Students try to read them. (出示课件)(2) Turn, turn, turn.Show a turntable on the PPT. When the turntable turns a word, students read it. (出示课件)Teaching purpose通过读单词听音圈词和拼写单词的活动,帮助学生进一步巩固字母a的发音规则2.Read, listen and circle.(1) Students read the words by themselves. (2) Listen and circle the words.(3) Listen again, then check the answers together.3.Listen and write.(1) Students look at the words. Show their fingers and spell the words after the teacher. The teacher stresses the rules of spelling, then lets students listen and write down the words.(2) Students check th
