Unit 7 Its raining.Teaching Design (教学设计)Section B (2a-2c)一、教学目标知识目标:1) 能掌握以下词汇:Canada、summer、sit、juice、soon、vacation hard、Europe、mountain、country、on (a) vacation 能力目标: 通过短文的阅读,获取相关信息,培养学生抓信息要点的能力。情感态度价值观: 积极了解世界各地的天气情况,充分认识到在不同的地区,人们正在做不同的事情,增加世界观念。二、教学重点1) 描述在不同的天气情况中人们正在做的事情。2) 阅读短文,提高获取相关信息的能力。三、教学难点通过阅读短文,培养学生抓信息要点的能力。四、教学过程Step 1: Free talk Ask and answer with some students about the weather and what their family are doing.Step 2: Revision Ask and answer about the pictures that the teacher shows. what city is it? what country is it in ? Hows the weather in the picture? What is he doing now?Step 3: Lead in Talk about the pictures of 2a in pairs .And learn some new words : Step 4: Presentation 1. Show a postcard to the students。 2. Fast ReadingListen to 2b and match each postcard with the correct picture in 2a.3. Show them how to write a a postcard. 4. Careful readingRead the first postcard quickly and answer the questions . Whom is Su Lin writing to? Where is Su Lin aunt? What is Su Lin studying? Is Su Lin visiting her old friends there? Where is she sitting right now?Read the second postcard and tell true or false.( ) Dave is in Africa now. ( ) Dave and his family are on a vacation in the mountains. ( ) They are having fun in Europe. ( ) Its cold and cloudy there. Step 5: Practice 1. Read the postcards again and fill the chart with the information from the postcards in 2b in groups. Help the students know different places , different weather , different activities . 2. Fill in the blanks to revise some important phrases in the reading . Homework:Try to write a postcard about the weather here and what you are doing , then send it to your friend far away .
