Foster the students really ability to handle.3. Grasp the usage of the phrases : turn on , cut up . Understand the imperative sentences. 4.Emotion: Foster the students spirit of unity , cooperation and ardently loving the work.5. Contents:1) Peel three bananas.2) Cut up the bananas.3) Put the bananas and ice cream into the blender.4) Pour the milk into the blender.5) Turn on the blender.6) Drink the milk shake.Points and difficulty: 1 The imperative sentences of making a banana milk shake.2.The phrases of verb +adv :turn on cut up 3. The differences of into and in, pour and put.Preparing before giving a lesson:1. the students: read the words and prepare for the process of making a banana milk shake.2. Teaching tools: recorder and tape.3.Practising tools: blender, knife, cups, teaspoon, gloves and a little kneading.4.The ingredient: bananas, ice cream and milk5.Teaching test and writing on the blackboard before class.Guide: Pay attention to safety.Time: one lesson Teaching design: Lead into the lesson through preparing the ingredient, encourage the students interest. Let the students start the new lesson with the interest. First grasp each sentence of making a banana milk shake from the important words in 1a. Surveying the sentences is the imperative sentence. Understand the imperative sentence. Next through the listening, learn particularly the process of making a banana milk shake. Then let the students in pairs practise really the process of making a banana milk shake. Both active the atmosphere of class and let the students make a few mistakes. Tasting own labour fruit is having a unique style.The students practise the conversations and know the sentences of making a banana milk shake. Let a group of the students tell the process in the front of class and grasp the sentences. Finally after practicing listening ,reading, telling and handling, the students practise writing. Finish the task in class.Teaching process:Step1Leading into the new lesson:T: Whats this? or Whatre these? S: Its a blender/milk/ice cream/knife.or Theyre bananas.(learn the new words by the things)T: Youre great! Well, its said that banana milk shake is very delicious. Here are the things we need. Can you tell me how to make a banana milk shake?( Just waiting for a minute) OK. Take a look at your book on page 41. Please open your books at page41.(The teacher write down “ How do you make a banana milk shake ?” on the blackboard. Then the students read it together.)Step2Finish 1a.Learn the words and the sentences.T: Please follow me to read the words in the box. Explain the phrases: turn on /cut up / put /pour/into /in.T:Now please write these words in the blanks in the picture above. Who can write down the sentences on the blackboard? Let a student come to the blackboard.The teacher makes corrections the sentences. Praise the student.Step3Now lets listen to a dialogue about making a banana milk shake. Learn how to make a banana milk shake.
