Sentence structures:-Do you have a/an? -Yes,I do./No,I dont.Teaching Difficult Points:The simple present tense.Teaching Methods:Pairwork;Groupwork.Teaching Aids:Pictures in PPT;Some balls.Teaching ProceduresStep 1 Lead in Greet students as usual.Then ask:Do you like sports(运动)?Ss:Yes,I do.Enjoy a video about playing ball games.Before watching the video,I ask students to pay attention to all kinds of ball games.While watching the video,students say the name of each ball game.(设计思路:通过谈论关于运动的话题,观看一段关于播放球类运动的视频,导入新课,激发学生的学习兴趣。)Step 2 Presentation Learn new words.Show the pictures of baseball,baseball bat,basketball,soccer ball,tennis ball,volleyball,ping-pong ball and ping-pong bat on the screen.Ask questions like this:T:Whats this in English?(Point to the picture of a baseball)S:Its a baseball.T:Spell it,please.S:B-A-S-E-B-A-L-L,baseball.Teach other words with the same approach.Students repeat after the teacher several times.Then show the pictures of ball games on the screen one by one,ask students to say each name in English.Play a game.Have a word competition.Show different pictures.See who can say it quickly and correctly.(设计思路:通过图片教授生词,直观形象,学生易于接受。在学习bat这个单词时,教师指出元音字母a的发音,强调它的中文含义:球棒、球拍。然后集中复现这些图片让学生巩固所学单词,为后面的对话练习做铺垫。)Step 3 Practice 1a Ask students to match the words with the pictures.Then ask one student to check the answers. 1b Listening practice.Play the recording twice.Students circle the words they hear.Ask one student to check the answers.Then show the conversations on the screen. Pairwork.Give pictures about ball games.Ask students to work in pairs and make up new conversations.Then ask some pairs to act out their conversations.Give complements to students. Groupwork.Students work in groups of four.Each group has a group leader.He/She interviews the group members:What kind of ball games do they have?Use the target language and write down the results on a piece of paper. Then ask two groups to present their conversations.Step 5 Summary Sum up todays lesson:What did we learn today?Ss:怎样询问对方是否有某物? A:Do you have a/an? B:Yes,I do./No,I dont.Step 6 Homework1. Make a survey about what kind of ball games your classmates have.2.
