Teaching steps:Step 1 Lead-in1.Greeting and talk about one of my pictures. T:A few days ago, I was in Shang Hai, I went to Shang Haitwo weeks ago, Now Im here with you. So I will say : I have been to Shang Hai.Have you ever been in Shang Hai? Ss: Yeas, I have . No, I havent.Have a chat with Students. 2. T: I have a great time in ShangHai, because there are lots of fun places in Shang Hai, such as museums. Lets have a look at different museums. Present different kinds of museums.Step 2 PracticeWork in pairs 1.A: Have you ever been to a/an?B: Yes, I have. I have ever been there. How about you?A: Me, too. / So have I. No, I havent. I have never been there.2. A: Have you ever been to a/an?B: No, I havent. I have never been there. How about you? A: Me, neither. / Neither have I.Yes, I have. I have ever been there.Play a game named Boast.Rules: work in pairs. One student can either tell the truth or boast(吹牛), the other one must follow the sentence with “Me, too.” or “ Me, neither” at once. Eg A : I have been to a science museum. B: Me, too! / So have I! Step 3 A listening job1. Look at the photo in 1a.carefully. Get the information as they can.Ask the questions: What places are they talking about? Have they ever been these places? Before the listening , Get them to tell the differences between the girls.Listen and check in the boxes in 1b.Check the answers.2. T: After talking about the fun places of museums, Lets take a look at another fun places. Get the students read the places on the map in 2a, before listening job, pay attention to the listening skills “key words”.3 Students read the sentences in 2b carefully, Try to answer the two questions: Who may be in the dialogue? / What places are they talking about?/ What are the important words they have to pay attention to while listening?Step 4 Practice reading Listen and repeat after the tape about 2a, practice in pairs.Step 5 A Survey Boys and girls, Im sure you have been to many interesting places before and you are going to other places in the future. Lets work in groups of four ,and talk about it. Fill in the blanks and then make a report in class.Where have you been ?
