Processes and methods With the learning strategies of reflecting and transforming information, get the students to talk about the chores. Make sure that they know how they become good children at school or at home. They should help their parents do some chores.3. Emotion, attitudes and valueThe main content is to talk about chores, so the topic is very helpful and necessary for the students. It can help the students learn the chores and how to do them. It can also train the students responsibilities and make them become good children.二、重点和难点:Vocabulary do the dishes , sweep the floor, take out the trash, make your bed, fold your clothes, clean the living room, make the bedTarget languageCould you sweep the floor? Yes, sure. / Of course. / No problem.Could you please make the bed?Sorry, I cant. I have to do my homework.三、教学流程:Step 1 创设情景导入新课1. Ask some students to talk about a topic “How to be a good child”. Give them some minutes to think about it and then tell the teacher their ideas about the topic. 2. Students discuss the question “ How to be a good child” S1: A good child should love their parents, their teachers and their friends. S2: A good child should help people who are in trouble. S3: A good child should help parents do some chores. T: As a daughter or a son we should respect parents. We should help parents do some housework. They will be happy and feel proud of us. As a student we should work hard and try to do well in all subjects. 3. Let students watch a short advertisement “Help mother wash feet” and then try to make them become good children.4. Free talk on if the students help their parents do chores.The teacher communicates with the students what chores they usually do at home.T: Do you often help your parents do chores?S: Yes, I do. I think we should do some housework. Step 2 小组活动1. The teacher shows some pictures or flashcards and asks the students to explain each chore in their own words and say if they do it or not.2. Discuss with your partner to find out what kind of chores they do to help their mothers?For example: A: What kind of chores do you do at home?B: I do the dishes every day. How about you?A: I make the bed and fold the clothes.Step3 体验1. Play a game. Ask two students to stand in front of the class. Look at the pictures carefully for one minute and then write the chores in the order. Encourage them to join in the game.2. Look at the pictures again and lead in the key sentence :Could you please do sth? Yes, sure. / Sorry, I cant. I have to do sth.3. Play the tape of Part 1b. And get the students to check Peters mother or Peter. Listen to the recording twice and then ask students to check the answers.Step4 小组活动Get the students work in group of four. And try to find out who is the most hard-working in the group? Get the students to make their own conversations, usingWhat chores do you do at home?
