Unit 6 The Story of Rain第一课时一、学 生 分 析根据小学高年级阶段学生的特点：好奇、好胜、好玩，但不大喜欢表现自我，因此教师需要想方设法活跃课堂的气氛，让学生大胆地参与到我们的课堂来，如比赛活动、游戏、chant等等，并利用具体、形象的教学材料使学生更快更容易地接受本课的内容。在学习本课时前，六年级的学生已具备下列语言知识和技能：能够听、说、读、写课本要求掌握的四会单词及句子；能够听懂一些简单的对话，并作答；能够根据情景组织简单的对话交际的表演；能够提出简单的问题及回答，但还没有很好地形成科学的学习英语的方法和用英语进行思维的习惯。二、教 材 分 析本课是PEP教材第七册Unit6 Part A Lets learn 和Lets talk的整合教学，课文要求学生理解并会表达水循环的过程。通过几年的英语学习，学生具有一定的词汇量。在四、五年级学生已经了解了本课所要求掌握的四会单词sun, cloud, rain和句型where are you from? I am from China. 本课在此基础上，还要求学生会听、说、读、写sun, cloud, rain, stream和认读vapour.同时学会用Where does the .come from? It comes from the这两个句型。由于本课教材比较抽象和难理解，为了使孩子们能更容易消化本课内容，我设计真实的情境和实用的活动，利用多媒体课件、板书、chant，使教学过程更加形象化和具体化，并真正做到词不离句，句不离词，在教学新单词时我总是把单词放在句子里面教，如：rain, rain, it comes from the clouds.为lets talk的对话学习做了很好的铺垫。三、教学目标（1）知识目标能够简单讲述水循环的过程，如：Where does the rain come from? It comes from the clouds.（2）能力目标1.能听、说、读、写A部分Lets learn中的四会单词，听、说、认读单词：vapour. 2. 能听、说、读、写A部分Lets talk 中的四会句子:Where does the rain come from? It comes from the clouds.四、教学重、难点1Lets learn部分的四会单词：stream, rain, cloud, sun和三会单词vapour.2重点掌握句型：Where does the rain come from? It comes from the clouds.要求学生能替换关键词造新句并能在水循环的整个过程运用自如。难点：理解并会读How can the water become vapour? The sun shines, the water becomes vapour.五、教学策略1.利用Lets do活跃气氛，让学生自然习得语言。2.运用游戏教学法，激发学生的兴趣，活跃课堂气氛，3.运用情景教学法，为学生的学习营造真实的语言环境。4.利用CAI课件，呈现图片使本课的教学更加形象化。六、教学过程（一）课前热身（Warm-up ）(1) Greeting:T: Whats the weather like today?S: ItsT: Can you see the sun outside?(板书sun)S: Yes. No.T: Is it cold today?S: Yes, it is.T: lets do some exercises, OK?S: OK.（设计意图：通过Greeting引出单词sun,自然地过渡到Lets do. ）(2) Listen and do the action.(四年级下册第四单元B部分的歌谣)（设计意图：通过Lets do营造轻松愉快的教学氛围，消除学生上课的紧张心理，并让学生感知本课的四会单词sun, rain, cloud.）（二）新课呈现（Presentation）Lets learn(1)课件呈现 P70 Lets learn的图T: Look at the beautiful picture. What can you see?S: I can see zip. (trees, rain, clouds, sun, rainbow, a river)学生回答的时候，教师把sun, rain, cloud画在黑板上，并利用卡片教学单词。在教学每个单词时用以下的方法：Sun, sun. Shine, shine, shine. (拍手，拍手，做太阳照射的动作)Clouds, clouds. Move, move, move. (拍手，拍手，做移动的动作)Rain, rain. Drop, drop, drop. (拍手，拍手，做雨下落的动作)（设计意图：借助Lets learn的图片，引出本课单词，并把单词放到chant里面，巩固单词的发音和理解，又让学生保持学习的热情。在chant里面渗透一些水循环的知识，为下面的教学做好铺垫。）(2) T：Now, the rain drops. Where is it going? S: It is going to the river.T: Is there a river? （指向stream） S: Yes, there is. T: No, this is a stream. Its not a river.教师在黑板上画出小溪,并利用卡片带读。 T：The stream is smaller than the river. Look at these pictures. Which picture is a river, which one is a stream?课件呈现下面两幅图，让学生区分stream和river.（设计意图：通过真实的图片让学生区分river和stream.）(3)T: The water in the stream is flowing,and the sun shines, the water becomes vapour.在黑板上画出vapour, 并教学单词。（chant：Vapour, vapour. Up, up, up.）(4) Read after the vedio.（跟读lets learn的单词）(5)a.找学生把相应的单词写在板书的简笔画旁边，每组派一名学生。b. Check the answer.T: Is it right? Ss: Yes.T: You are the rain group. 检查的时候把学生分为四组rain,water,vapour,cloud.（设计意图：巩固学生拼写单词的能力，并把学生分成四组以为下面的比赛做好准备。）(6) Lets chant1T：You all did a good job. There is a chant for you. First,listen to me. (课件呈现chant)Sun, sun. Shine, shine, shine. Vapour, vapour. Up, up, up.Clouds, clouds. Move, move, move. Rain, rain. Drop, drop, drop. 2.学生跟老师chant.教师要指导学生，吟唱要到那一组，那一组的同学要站起来大声吟唱，教师对做得好的那组进行奖励。（设计意图：借助chant再一次活跃气氛，让学生不知不觉地了解到水的循环，自然衔接下一个环节。）Lets talk（1）课件呈现下雨的图T: Its a rainy day. I dont like the rain. (教师教学重点句型)（设计意图：通过图片询问学生Where does the rain come from?并通过课件提示学生回答It comes from the clouds.引出了本课的重点句型.） (2) 继续通过图片，分别询问cloud, vapour，water.1.T：Where does the cloud come from?S：It comes from the .2.T：Where does the vapour come from?S：It comes from the .3.T：Where does the water come from?S: It comes from the .(设计意图：根据图片回答问题，让学生熟练本课的重点句型，并会灵活使用，也让学生更好地了解水的循环。)(3)根据图片把学生分为2大组进行问答，加强学生认读句子的能力。(4) Play a game1.老师示范问：rain, rain, where does the rain come from? Rain小组同学要快速站起来并回答:clouds,clouds,it comes from the clouds.再找几名学生上台发问。（上台的学生要替换关键词）2.小组内分好角色操练。（设计意图：这个游戏节奏感强，操作简单，针对六年级学生不喜欢表现的特点，让他们大胆的站起来玩游戏，达到整体操练句型的目的。游戏中让一个学生问，全班同学答，能真正做到面向全体，面向个人，让每个学生自然习得和巩固本课的重点句型,扩大操面。）(5) T: Vapour, vapour, where does the vapour come from?
