1 Nothing succeeds like the Appearance of Success If you want a good impression with others, your first concern must be a winning self-image. A person with a losing self-image will never project a winning self-image in others. This kind of persons may fool some people for a while, but his poor self-image will never make it possible for him to relate favorably to the other people. Through the ages, some great philosophers have stated: “You are what you want you are.” Its imperative to have a winning self-image of yourself if you want to create same impression in others.No matter who you are, everything worthwhile you have is all determined by your self-image. Your happiness is based on it. You will only live one life, and in order to enjoy it, you must have a winning self-image. Since we can all choose how we want to think ourselves, our thoughts should try to be positive and winning. In an attempt to build a winning image, you must begin with the self, otherwise, the image you strive for will be supported by nothing but a sand-like foundation.Any athlete will tell you that you should know you are a winner in order to be one. To many, this message sounds like a double-talk, but it contains a true essential. Although you can apply this short message to anything in your life, I still want to use a athletic as a basis of illustrating my thoughts about self-image because sports involves physical exertion by which desired results can be achieved.2 How to win love As we know, people are starved for love. They watch endless numbers of films about happy and unhappy love stories and listen to hundreds of trashy songs about love, yet hardly anyone considers that there is anything that needs to be learned about how to win love. Franklin had said that:” If you would be loved, love and be lovable.” I think he want to tell us that if you are going to love a boy or a girl, you must do two things, to love with your heart and to know how to be lovable. Generally speaking, you should make yourself attractive and lovable, since love usually starts from physical attraction. To achieve this goal, you may develop pleasant manners, interesting conversation, to be helpful, modest and inoffensive. For further relationship, you must know that love is respect, wanting to help that person in any aspect of his or her live. You should make your lover feel safe with you, be proud of being with you and share hopes and dreams with you. That is to say, you will be together with your lover no matter what happened now or later until the day you pass away. May love live forever! 4 E-mail,aBlessingoraCurseE-mail has become a certain important part in almost everybodys daily life, and billions of emails are exchanged on the internet everyday.But with the quick development of internet and email technologies, there also are some bad impacts of email to peoples life. For example, the worst can be called junk mails. Theres nothing that matters with you and even some of them contain some kinds of virus. Imagine this, you are busy with your work everyday, and a most important part of your job every morning is to check the email and reply to your customs, but when you open you mailbox, all you find is those junk mails! They might be called curse by some people, as it really influences your mood in life or work. When you open the mail with virus unconsciously, you may have a big problem to deal with, nobody wants it to happen. I just wonder why there are so many people creating junk mail everyday and send it to people all around the world! Yeah, its better to find something useful in some junk mails, but seldom can you do that.However, we have to say all the things in the world have their bad and also good aspects at the same time, we just cant doubt about it. People use emails to transfer information like emotions and other feelings! For a student studying abroad, its definitely significant for him or her to send emails to parents. As you can see, emails are much cheaper than phone calls and much convenient in some situations. If you cant say I love you in a real world, you may choose the way of sending an email to him or her instead which is much easier and efficient. So when talking about things just like above, we have to admit that e-mails are blessing, at least its much more a blessing than a curse. All in all, in my opinion, the advantages of the email far outweigh the disadvantages. I have to say that it dose take a lot of convenient to our daily lives, so maybe we can put up with its little shortcomings.5 Humor-A Pillow That Cushions the BlowA sense of humor is universally the most important asset in a persons personality. Its born within the peoples heart but it has to be cultivated. A person without a sense of humor is like a spring without flowers or a dish without seasoning. In a sense, your personality lies in your sense of humor.Humor can enhance our physical as well as mental well being. It can help us relieve pressure, reduce tension, help us overcome frustrations, dissolute the countless trifles and irritations offered by day to day life. With the crack of a joke, all our worries, sadness and fatigue disappear like the mist and were full of vigor once again. Besides, humor can help us stay in a harmony with others, with it you can always stay on good terms with other persons.One way to cultivate a sense of humor is to have a wide variety of knowledge so that the slightest differences can be understood. Otherwise, you will be simply at a loss in such a situation. On the other hand, a crucial point of developing a sense of humor is to have a rich imagination. Nothing is much worse than lack of the capability of imagination to kill a otherwise funny joke.A sense of humor is one of ways in which we can relax and recreate ourselves. The things we find humor can vary, but to have a sense of humor is very important and should be cultivated positively to get the most out of life 7 My attitude towards life i am an independent free girl, nothing should bind my fingers and feet, nothing could kill my passion towards life. the passion is the answer for living, that is, the love of things, everything that may catch your eyeballs. i am not a genius, and i dont care whether my iq or eq is high or not. this really doesnt matter. what i care about is the passion and the courage to grasp my own life, be my own lord. say it out aloud: its your own life, no one can interrupt. i could make it better or worse, all depend on my descion. now consider, what do you want to feel and get from life, which is just so wonderful? if you have any desire from life, you need to pay for what you get. so be positive, use hard work very hard to get what you want. in the same process, you could produce sth meaningful to others and the society.which is wonderful. the world belongs to me, i will make the best of it, no matter other people are helping or destroying. just pusuit on my own.8 Super woman vs. Supermom.With the worldwide women liberation movement in last century, women are totally liberated from the traditional housework and are playing a more and more important role in todays social society. Nowadays, they can do anything they want just like men.
