Difficult points： Describe what they are doing in their communications correctly. Sub + am/is/are/ +V.ing Teaching procedure:Step 1. Warming-up 1. Greet the Ss and free talk with Ss。T：We are having an English class now. What are we doing now? (Help the students to answer: Were having an English class now.）Step 2. Presentation1. Learn the new words and phrases using some pictures. newspapers, use, soup, wash, watch TV, talk on the phone, and wash the dishes. 2. Lets enjoy a video! (Ss pay attention to v-ing.)3. Show some pictures on the screen and ask some students to perform the actions. e.g. T: Its 6:30 now. What are you doing? S: I am swimming. (Help him/her to answer) T: Look！What is he /she doing? Ss: He /she is swimming. Teach: reading a newspaper, making soup, watching TV, cleaning, talking on the phone.as the same way. 4. Give Ss some time and try to remember the new words and expressions.
