Lets ask and answer between the teacher and students. Clear? Ss: Yes.T: Whats she doing now?Ss: She is reading a book.T: Whats she doing now?S1: Shes swimming.S2: She is doing homework.T: Whats he doing now?S3: He is playing computer.T: You did a good job! But can you find out the rules?2) Have a look and readAsk students to have a look at the words first. Then find out the rules to consolidate The Present Continuous Tense. Finally,read the words.3) Who has the best eye?Show some pictures on PPT quickly. Then ask students to guess “What he/she/they is/are doing?” Finally,find out the person who has the best eye?Step 3 Pair workDivide students into several groups to train the target language.Take an example: A: What are they doing?B: Theyre singing.A few minutes,ask some of the students to act them out.Step 4 Play Games Show four balloons on PPT,ask students to choose one to express .The other students to guess“What he/she is doing?”Then the teacher helps to consolidate the target language.Step 5 WritingNow,do a writing practice. Look at the picture,Can you use your own words to describe it ? Then give them several minutes to write.
