Unit 6 Im watching TV. Section A (1a-2c)一、教材分析本单元是Goforit(七年级下册)Unit6。第一课时是SectionA中的(1a,1b,1c,2c),本节课以What are you doing?为话题,教学现在进行时,旨在创造一个轻松、愉快的学习、交流环境。主要通过听、说、读、写、唱来学习语言知识,培养语言技能,从而提高学生的综合语言运用能力。并让学生能在“做中学”,通过有限的课堂实践活动,注意观察别人的行动,让学生学会谈论人们正在干什么。本课的教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流。二、学生情况分析农村中学七年级学生大部分在小学接触英语较少,应用能力十分薄弱,在课堂表现欲望不强,常流露出不自信的神色。为了激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,敢于开口。在教学活动中,我充分利用多媒体、图片、实物、英文歌曲、游戏、比赛等,创设情景,使英语学习与学生的实际生活更贴近,引导他们在运用语言中学习语言,在学习新的语言知识后创造性地运用语言,体验学习过程中的快乐与成功,激发他们学习英语的热情,树立信心。三、教学设计理念以新课程为指导,教学活动力求以学生为主体,根据本校学生的特点,结合多媒体,采用多种教学手段寓教于乐。在“学习生活化, 活动生活化”的教学理念倡导下, 课堂教学以“活动”这条线贯穿始终。对活动的设计,注意到了循序渐进,使学生掌握知识有一定的阶梯,突出了培养学生运用英语进行交流的能力Teaching Aims and Demands1. Sing the song: Are you sleeping?Step 2 PresentationAsk a student to sing the song. Then ask: What are you doing? Help him or her to answer: Im singing. T: Can you dance? You can dance like this. (The student is dancing.) T: What are you doing? S: Im dancing. Well done! Now, Lets look at the screen.Please act and speak. Lets talk about what people are doing.Step 3 Practice1.Show some pictures and let the students ask and answer in pairs.e.g. What are you doing? Im reading. What is she doing? Shes cleaning. What are they doing? Theyre talking on the phone.2.Practice Section A (1a)3.Have a match: Lets divide the classs into groups of four or five.A: Hello, what are you doing?B: Im reading. Hello. what are you doing?C: Im singing D:E:You mustnt repeat what the others said. Lets see which group is the first to finish it.Step 4 ListeningPlay the recording. Ask students to write the number of the activity each person is doing.Step 5 Guessing gameTell the students to do this game: Everyone has two chances. The Students who guess right will get gifts. They may use the dialogues like this:Is he watching TV?Yes, he is/ No, he isnt.Are they ? Yes, they are. / No, they arent.Step 6 ListeningListen to the tape carefully. Then answer the two questions.Check the answersListen again. Let students write numbers 2, 3 and 4 in the boxes to complete the conversation.Step 7 Task: Who is the best actor?Divide the students into several groups. Each group may have four or five students. Let one act, the others guess what he/ she is doing? They can do in their groups first. Then have several of them act in front of the class. The other students guess what they are doing.Last, we will give some gifts to someone who acts best.Sample conversation:Hi, what is he/ she doing?Is he/she running?Yes, he/she is. / No, I think he/she is walking.Step 8 Summary and homework1.First let students say the structure of the present progressive tense. Then the teacher makes a conclusion according to what the sutdents said:主语在句首 ,am/is/are跟在后,现在分词跟着走,其它成分不可丢。Then ask some students to add “ing” to the verbs and find the regularity. Pay attention to the melody. Its the same as “Are you sleeping?” Ask you a question,Ask you a question,What are you doing?What are you doing?Im singing, singing.Im dancing, dancing.Oh, oh oh, oh, oh oh. 教学反思:本节课教学过程自然、流畅,循序渐进。上课一开始,我以英语歌曲“Are you sleeping?”导入新课,巧妙引入了现在进行时。这首歌的旋律和“两只老虎”的旋律是一样的,学生听了一遍,就能跟着一起唱,活跃了课堂气氛,使学生快乐、轻松地进入了英语世界。现在进行时是这节课的一个难点,如何让学生理解现在进行时的含义呢?我用生动活泼的课件,展示了本班一些学生正在唱歌、跳舞、跑步的图片,创设情景,吸引学生的眼球,使教学内容更贴近学生的生活,从而更能激起学生的兴趣,也更有利于学生间开展交流,给学生创设了一个真实的语用环境,在这个语境下,学生很容易地理解了现在进行时所表达的含义及用法。并借助Body language和小道具,使学生知道什么情况下使用现在进行时,现在进行时如何构成,现在分词有什么变化规律。在这个环节中,我请学生自己探索发现现在进行时的特征及现在分词的变化规律,学生在探究,教师在指导,达到了学习的最佳境界。为了顺利地完成教学目标,更好地突出重点,突破难点,按照学生的认知规律,设计教学时,按照情景教学-直观教学-游戏教学-发散思维教学等方法多方位促使学生学习。在教学过程中采用英文歌谣、游戏、顺口溜、比赛、表演等教学手段寓教于乐,通过看一看、猜一猜、做一做、玩一玩等活动,运用学生多种感官的结合,有效调动他们的求知欲,并注重新旧知识间的融合,丰富学生的语言输出。开展多种形式的游戏和活动,激发学生参与活动的兴趣,也体现了英语学以致用的教学理念。家庭作业:我让学生给“Are you sleeping?”这首歌填上新的歌词,描述家人正在干什么,再唱给同学听。这样的作业很有创意,学生可以运用所学的英语知识,发挥自己的创造力和现象力,根据情境编歌词,唱出现在进行时。这节课我以大家同唱“Ask you a question”来结束,不仅与上课开始时相呼应而且使学生们以愉快的心情下课。英文歌极大地提高了他们学习英语的积极性,巩固了所学的知识。一堂课下来,通过运用有效的教学策略使学生对英语学科爱学、会学、善学到爱用、会用、善用,让学生的多元智能充分得到发挥。另外,学生的学习热情和自信心是外语教学中最可贵的因素。农村学生大多性格内向,有相当一部分学生表现为胆小,不愿意开口。针对这种情况,要尽量去了解每一个学生,摸准他们的心理脾气,在教学中尊重他们,关心体贴他们,及时鼓励他们。课堂上应尽力避免当场纠正学生语言错误地行为。否则,学生容易产生外语学习焦虑,这种情感将会大大地挫伤他们学习外语的热情。因此在教学中我对学生参与的态度进行鼓励性评价, 以保护和提高学生主动参与教学的积极性, 做到不只关注教学效果, 同时也关注教学过程, 使对学习过程和对学习结果的评价达到和谐统一。这节课有几个不足的地方:学生能运用句型What are you
