Unit 2 What time do you go to school?教学设计Section B(1a-1d) 【学习目标】1.学习下列单词:half past quarter homework run clean walk 2.学习下列短语: do homework take a walk go to bed in the afternoon go home half past six get up have breakfast go to school eat dinner3. 能掌握下列句子,正确运用时间表达方式:A: When does Tom usually eat breakfast ?B: He usually eats breakfast at 6 oclock in the morning.A: When does your mother usually go to bed ?B: My mother usually goes to bed at half past ten in the evening.【能力目标】听懂有关人们从事活动的时间的对话。【教学重点】用past,to,half,quarter正确表示时间【教学难点】运用past,to,half,quarter来对日常生活中人们从事活动的时间进行问答交流。【教学过程】Step 1:Warming-upWatch a video: Tick Tock Time设计意图:通过播放视频,作为本节课的课前热身。Step 2 :Leading-inTask 1 Tell me the timeT: Do you know the time?Tell me the time. Ask: How do you say time with “past, to”? Help them say it.设计意图:本单元的前面几个课时中,学生已经初步掌握了整点的读法。通过此环节复习引出本节课的重点顺读法和逆读法。由整点到顺读法慢慢过渡,引出逆读法。给学生建立链接。Step 3 :PresentationTask 2 Match these pictures with phrases.T: Do you know the phrases, Do you know what they are doing?Match these pictures with the phrases. let the students practice: eat breakfast, do your homework, eat dinner and go to bed in pairs. Show the clock. 设计意图: 通过图片的直观认识,熟悉在文中出现的几个短语为下一步活动和时间的匹配做准备。Task 3 Match the activities with the time of day. 1a and 1b Match the activities with the time of day. Then check answers with each other.Task 4 Fill in the blanks. T: When do you usually go to bed ? According to the pictures, fill in the blanks. Practice the new phrases. Pay attention to the subjects and the verbs.设计意图:通过设空的方式降低难度,把时间和本课时的重点短语用在句子中,进一步熟悉。为下一步听力做准备。Task 5 Listen and circle the activities you hear. Listening for the general idea The conversation is mainly about A: the times of Toms activitiesB: the places of Toms activitiesC: the ways of Toms activities设计意图:听取大意,把握整体信息,训练整体思维能力。Listening for the specific ideas 1 1c Listen and circle the activities you hear. 2 1d Listen again to write the times next to the activities you circled in 1c.设计意图:训练学生围绕活动与时间两个线索,快速而准确地获得所要听的信息。Step6 Post-listening activities 1 Listen to the tape again and repeat one by one.2 1e Ask and answer questions about Tom in pairs.3 Ask some pairs to role play the conversation.设计意图:模仿录音的语音和语调,提高学生的朗读能力;通过对话练习进一步对听力内容进行巩固操练。Step 4 Summary1、时间表达法:顺读法 逆读法:分+past+小时 分+to +小时 2、短语: do homework take a walk go to bed in the afternoon go home half past six get up have breakfast go to school eat dinner3、句型: When do/does .? 【课后反思】本课时主要是复习句型What time do/does sb. do sth? Sb. do/does sth at 学习用past/to来表达时间。同时用句型When do/does sb usually do sth? Sb usually do/does sth prep.来进行巩固训练。让学生在通过听,说,唱,读,听后模仿对话的层层深入练习达到融会贯通,运用自如。大部分学生可以熟练完成各项任务。但也有一小部分学生数字掌握不好,听写时间练习时反应稍慢。本课的对话较简单,学生的口头表达要好于书写,应在单词书写上重点训练,反复示范强化。顺读法逆读法7:10
