教学设计Unit 6 Im watching TV.Period1 Section A 1a-1c姚河中心学校 罗丽萍一、教学目标(一)知识目标1.初步了解现在进行时的用法;掌握现在进行时的句子结构特征;现在分词的构成规律。2.词汇:exercise, newspaper, soup, reading a newspaper, talking on the phone, listening to a CD, using the computer3.句型:What are you doing? I am watching TV .What is he/she doing ? He/She is doing homework. What are they doing? They are eating dinner.(二)能力目标将现在进行时灵活适时地运用到日常学习和生活中去。(三)情感目标在趣味话题的激励下,诱导学生积极参与,充分调动他们的学习兴趣,并注重培养学生的合作竞争能力和自主探究学习的能力。2、 教学重难点重点:New words :exercise, newspaper, soup, reading a newspaper, talking on the phone, listening to a CD, using the computer Target language: What are you doing? I am watching TV . What is he/she doing ? He/She is doing homework. What are they doing? They are eating dinner.及其回答,并注重动词现在分词的变化规则。难点:现在进行时的结构。三、教学方法 教法:运用任务型教学法与问答式教学法为主,多媒体教学法为辅,从而逐渐突破本课的重点和难点。 学法:遵循“教为主导,学为主体,练为主线”的教学思想,通过学生的自主探究,积极参与与合作交流,掌握现在进行时的表达法并会灵活运用。4、 教具准备 Power point5、 教学过程Step1.Warming up(1) Greet the class .T:Im happy to see you here. Nice to meet you! How are you?Its a nice day, do you want to say a song? OK, lets sing the song: Are you sleeping?让同学们关注歌词中红色字体部分,发现都是有be动词加动词的ing形式构成.T:So today we will learn a new tense: the present progressive tense. Now we learn Unit6 Im watching TV.Step2.Presentation(1) Present Carfields picture and look at his self-introduction, then let students answer these questions with teacher together.Eg: T:What are you doing? Ss and T:Im watching TV.The teacher and the students do the conversations together. After that ,let students read after the teacher.Ask students to help Carfield to ask and answer questions, let boys ask and girls answer. (3) Continue letting students look at some pictures of Carfields friends and answer some questions together.Eg: What is Tom doing ?He is getting up.Invite a student to come to the blackboard to give actions about his day on weekends.Let students look at other pictures , ask and answer questions together . Invite some students to answer .(4) Ask students to look at the Happy Apartment and say what they are doing .Invite a student to come to the blackboard to match, then check answers together. Let students practice the conversations from a to i and review the key sentences together. (师把重要的短语写在黑板上,引起学生的注意。)Step3.Listening. Ask students to listen to 1b,listen for two times, at last check answers together.Step4.ActionT gives some actions and let students guess what I am doing. Then invite some students to come to the blackboard to act, let other students guess.Step5.Practice.Ask students to look at the pictures and do pair work .(把重要句型写在黑板上)Divide the students into three groups to have a competition, let them talk about the pictures one by one ,which group say it correctly and quickly, T will give them a happy face.Step6.Guessing gameAsk students to do the guessing game .Step5.Summary总结现在进行时的定义和结构及动词ing的构成规则。Then ask students to do the exercises to consolidate. Have a competition and count the happy faces to find which group is the winner.Step6.Homework(1) Write a passage about what your family are doing at 7:00 in the evening.(2) Try to remember the key words and phrases on the blackboard.Blackboard design:Unit 6 Im watching TV.
