Unit 12 What did you do last weekend?Section A 1 (1a-1c)教学设计吴山镇中心学校 王懿一、教学目标:1. 语言知识目标:1)掌握以下单词: camp, lake, beach, badminton, sheep.能掌握以下句型: Where did you do last weekend, Lucy? I went to summer camp. How was your weekend? Pretty good, thanks 2) 能了解以下语法:Learn to talk about recent past events.2. 情感态度价值观目标1. 帮助学生树立合作学习观点。2. 讲述美好的周末,树立学生享受生活,热爱美好的大自然情感。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) Key vocabulary.2) Talk about recent past events2. 教学难点:1) Talk about recent past events2) Practice students listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.三、学情分析本单元是学生学习一般过去时的第二个单元。经过上一个单元的学习,学生基本弄清了一般过去时的结构和意义,为本单元的学习奠定了基础。由于我校处在农村地区,学生的英语基础比较薄弱,学生们也学得很刻苦。不过,教材中的一些活动和我们农村的学生生活比较贴近,因此学生在学的时候比较容易引起共鸣,这也对于本单元的学习是一种促进,接近了学生和教材的距离。三、教学过程. Warming-up 1. The teacher greet students and lead to the activities last weekend.(师生问答,互相打招呼,并导入周末的活动。)T:How are you?S: Im fine.T: How was your last weekend?S1:Not bad.S2:Very interesting.S3: Not good.T: But I had a wonderful weekend. What did I do last weekend? Do you know?Ss: No.T: Now, see a video and you can guess what I did last weekend.The teacher play a video. Students guess what the teacher did last weekend. 教师播放一段视频,让学生通过视频猜测老师上周末做了什么事。2. Ask the students about their weekend.(询问学生们的周末活动)T:Now, you know what I did last weekend. How about you? What did you do last weekend?S1: I did my homework.S2: I went to the cinema.S3: I rode a horse. ReviewReview what they learnt about the Simple Past Tense last unit.(复习上一单元所学的一般过去时的内容。)T: What did Carol and her classmates do last week? Do you know? Let look at the picture and answer the questions. The teacher show some pictures and questions. The students answer the questions according to the pictures to review the lesson.(学生根据图片回答问题复习上一单元内容。)III. Presentation1. Show the students some pictures and learn some new words (camp, lake, beach, badminton). Practice for several times,if necessary.(呈现图片,学习生词。如有必要,可多练习几次。)2. Work on 1a. This activity introduces the key vocabulary.1). Focus attention on the picture. Ask students to tell what they see. Name each activity and ask students to repeat: did my homework, went to the cinema, went boating, camped by the lake, went to the beach, played badminton.(看图片,让学生说一说图片上的活动。)2). Point out the numbered list of activities. Say each one again and ask students to repeat.(指着活动清单,让学生多重复练习几次。)3). Then ask students to match each activity with one of the pictures. Say, Write the letter of each activity next to the words. Point out the sample answer.(学生把活动和图片搭配起来。)4). Check the answers.(核对答案。). Consolidation1. Play the guessing game to help students remember the new expressions.(玩猜词游戏,巩固所学的表达。)What did he/ she/ they do last weekend?.2. Listening practice. Work on 1b. This activity gives students practice in understanding the target language in spoken conversation.1). Point to the activities in the picture in activity la. Ask students to tell what the person did in each picture. For example, she played badminton, or Lucy went to the cinema. Play the recording the first time. Students only listen.2). Play the recording a second time. This time say. Listen to the recording and write the days and times Lucy did each thing under the pictures. Point out the sample answer under the picture of Lucy playing badminton; on Saturday morning.3). Check the answers. Practice.1. Pair work. Work on 1c.This activity provides guided oral practice using the target language.1). Point to the example conversation. Ask two students to read the dialogue to the class.2). Say, now work with a partner. Student A, pretend to be Lucy. Student B, ask questions about what Lucy did on different days and times last weekend. Talk about the activities in the picture.(两个同学结对练习,一个扮演Lucy, 另一个扮演采访者,按照课本1a进行对话练习,)3). Students work in pairs. As they talk, move around the room monitoring their work. Offer language or pronunciation support as needed,(教师观察指导学生的结对练习。)2. Students make the new conversations according their own activities last weekend.Ask several pairs to perform their conversations.3. Exercises in class.(当堂练习,达标测评。)1). Look at the pictures and finish the blanks according to the pictures.(看图片,填空。)2)Correct the mistakes in the sentences. (纠正句中的错误。)4. SummaryHelp students summarize th
