Let students look at the pictures and ask them,” Whatdoeshe/shelooklike?” Students learn the new words with the help of the pictures. 2. Show a picture of Xu Zheng. Imgine now you are the barber. Lets design a new haircut for him.3. Show a picture of Pan Changjiang and Fei Xiang. Can you describe them?4. Give some clues and guess who he is.5. Describe your look. My name is. I have. hair. I am. and . 6. Look at the pictures in 1a. Then read the new words on the left. Match the words with the people in the picture. You can use some letters more than once. Check the answers. (Pay attention to has/is.)Step 2 Listening (1b).1. Before listening Listen to the conversation for the first time and answer the following question: What is the conversation about?2. While listening Listen and fill in the blanks in the picture above. Can you find Amys friend? Check the answers. 3. After listening Listen and read after the recording. Step 3 Pair work 1. Tell the students: Talk about your best friend in our class.2. Make a model with a student like this:T: What does your best friend look like? S1: She/He hashair and she/he is3.
