Unit 6 Im going to study computer science. Section A 1a-2c 教学设计 石家庄市第17中学 齐心教材分析:本单元的话题是life goals. Section A 1a-2c集中呈现了12个有关工作的名词,9个为新词汇,3个为已学词汇,以及如何实现life goal 的动词短语。本部分的核心句型是询问未来职业的What do you want to be when you grow up?和如何实现梦想的How are you going to do that?学情分析:初中生对本课话题jobs较为熟悉,也非常感兴趣,所以能带着兴趣去学习。但是运用How are you going to do that?句式对如何实现职业目标进行问答时,不能自如的使用动词短语,此处难度较大。教师需要在教学中注意对学生的引导和训练。 教学目标:知识与能力目标1理解和掌握computer programmer, engineer, cook, doctor, violinist, pilot, pianist, scientist, driver 9个表示职业的名词,能正确使用be going to 结构表示将来,复习已学过的表示职业的名词。2能简单谈论对未来的打算。A: What do you want to be when you grow up?B: I want to be an engineer.A: How are you going to do that?B: Im going to study computer science.情感态度与价值观目标: 初步了解中外学生的择业观,树立健康积极的生活目标,并引导学生坚持为目标而努力。教学重难点: 学习职业的词汇,并运用What do you want to be when you grow up?询问未来职业和How are you going to do that?来询问如何实现梦想的两个句式进行问答。本部分的难点是动词短语的灵活使用和新教授的职业名称的掌握运用。教学过程:Step1 leading inPlay an English song “Be what you wanna be” to lead in .Step 2 Learning the new wordsLearn the new words : computer programmer, engineer, cook, doctor, violinist, pilot, pianist, scientist, driverStep3 PresentationShow a picture of a young boy and say: Tom is going to be a basketball player when he grows up.Ask: What do you want to be when you grow up?Step 4 Chain DrillPractice : A: What do you want to be when you grow up?B: I want to be . Step5 ListeningPre-listening: Tom wants to be a basketball player when he grows up. How is he going to do that? He is going to practice basketball. Some boys and girls are talking about what they want to be when they grow up and how they are going to do that .While listening: 1. Listen to the conversations and fill in the blanks about “Jobs”2. Listen again. Fill in the blanks about “How”.Post listening: Read together.Step 6 Pair work Work in pairs. Talk about what they are going to be and how they are going to do that.Step7 Play a short video to lead into 2a and 2b.Step 8 ListeningPre-listening: Answer the two questions about the video1.What are they talking about?2.Do all the people have plans?While listening: Listen to the conversations twice and fill in the blanks about Post listening: Ask and answer questions about Cheng Hans plans.Step9 Group workForm a group of three.
