Learn how to make a shopping plan.教学过程Step 1 Review通过做游戏的形式复习Section A 的内容,即:数字;购物用语通过做游戏的形式复习Section B 的生词和短语。Step 2 Presentation1. From“What can I do for you ?”leads to “Can I help you ?”Then tell the students they are the same .2. Show the picture about this section 1a to the students. Tell them that Michael is in the clothing shop.Now. Lets listen to the tape and find the answer to this question: What does Michael want to buy?Listen to the tape. After the students find their answer, check.Answer: Michael wants to buy a pair of pants.3. Deal with the new words in this part: fit, another, pair.Let the two students who dont have the same size shoes change their shoes.Then ask: A: How do the shoes fit? B: They are too big.A: Would you like to try on another pair? B: Yes, please.Then let the students practice in pairs.Step 3 Consolidation1. The teacher points at his or her clothes, tell the students in price(much higher than fact).The students will not believe. Try to teach “Are you kidding?”(你是开玩笑吗?)2. Tell the students that “Thanks anyway”is used when you ask for help but the others cant help you .3. Practice : How do you like Let the students make a survey and fill in the form below.Then collect some of their forms and make dialog according to the forms.e.g. A: Kangkang, how do you like chicken? B: I like it very much.Or: A: How does Li Lei like his pants? B: He doesnt like them at all.Step 4 Practice1. Practice reading 1a. Read after the tape, and correct the students pronunciation.2. Group work 1a3. Act out 1a. Pay attention to the expressions about shopping.4. Finish 1b. Ask the ss to help Marias parents make a shopping plan.5. Finish 2b. 6.
