Unit 6 Im watching TV.Section A 1 (1a-2d)一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词: newspaper, use, soup, wash, movie, just 能掌握以下句型: What are you doing? Im watching TV. Whats he doing? Hes using the computer. What are they doing? Theyre listening to a CD. 2) 能掌握语法:现在进行时态的用法。3) 能运用所学的知识,描述人们正在干的事情。2. 情感态度价值观目标:通过对本单元的学习活动,让学生们明白一个道理:你想做什么不重要,重要的是你正在做什么!(It matters not what you want to do, but what you are doing!) 二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 词汇、词组搭配和现在进行时的用法。能用现在进行时的各种形式进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作。2) 能掌握现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配,如: doing homework, using the computer, watching TV, eating dinner 等 2. 教学难点: 现在进行时中现在分词的结构及读音,能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。三、教学过程I. Presentation1. Lets enjoy a song “Are you sleeping ?” and ask some questions .1) Whats John doing ?2) Are you sleeping ?3) What are you doing ? Help Ss answer the questions .2. T: Today , I am a guide and you are tourists. First , Let me around our interesting clubs. See what they are doing . Ask and answer questions with Ss .3. T: When they are in clubs ,they are very happy . Do you want to join them ?4. T: Next , let me show you around another happy place-Happy Apartments . Look ! What are they doing ? Lets visit them door to door . I Teach: watching TV, using the computer, reading a newspaper, listening to a CD, talking on the phone Work on 1a. Ss read the activities and look at the pictures. Then match the activities with pictures. 5. Check the answers with the Ss. 6. Read the words together .II. Listening 1. T: My friends Jenny, John, Dave and Mary are living in Happy Apartments .Who are they ?What are they doing ? Now lets listen to the tape, find out the right activities from 1a. 2. Play the recording for the Ss twice.3. Ss listen to the recording and write the numbers from 1a and complete the sentences. 4. T: Which picture are they in ? Choose the correct picture . Then find the answers. III. Pair work 1. Show three pictures to Ss. Ask and answer questions about them with Ss ?-What is she doing ? -She is .-Is she ?-Yes, she is / No , she isnt .-What is he doing ? -He is . -Is he ?-Yes, he is ./ No , he isnt .-What are they doing ? -They are .-Are they ?-Yes, they are .-No, they arent2. Show some pictures to Ss and let them work in pairs .3. Ask several pairs to perform their conversations. IV. Listening 1. Work on 2a; T:My another two students Jack and Steve are talking on the phone. What are they doing now? Listen to the conversations and match the answers with the questions. (Play the recording for the first time, students only listen carefully. Then, listen to the recording again, and match the answers with the questions. )Check the answers. 2. Work on 2b. Let Ss predict the answers in 2b first. Then play the recording for the Ss twice. The first time Ss only listen and write down the words in the blanks. Then play the recording again for the Ss to check the answers. Teach the word “movie”V. Chant T: Are you tired ? Lets chant and relax . Show your hands and clap your hands. Chant twice .VI. 探究乐园 1. Talk about the meaning and structure of “the Present Continuous Tense ”2. At the end of the class, I want to say “It matters not what you want to do, but what you are doing!”VII. Homework: 1. 编3组对话, 使用she ,they , you三种人称。-Whats
