They were delicious.Ask the students: How was your weekend? Where did you go? What did you do? How was the weather?Step3.Listening:Say: So some of you had a great weekend but some of you had a boring weekend. How was Jane and Tonys weekend. Open your books and turn to page 64.Ask the Ss to talk about the pictures, and match the activities with the pictures.Play the tape for two times. Ss listen carefully and answer the questions of 1b.Then listen again complete the chart of 1c.Check the answers.Step4.Practice.1. Ask the Ss to practice the conversation in pairs or give us a report about Jane or Tonys weekend.2. Ask some pairs to practice in class Or some individuals to give us a report.Step5.Writing in class.Write a short passage ( 60-80 words). The following questions may help. How was your weekend? Where did you go? Who did you go with? How did you get there? What did you do?
