Teaching Plan for unit 5 Whose dog is it?Part B lets talk & lets learn执教班级:吕岭小学 五年级二班执教者: 高林中心小学 郑巧芳一、 教学分析: 1、教学内容分析本节课是人教版第五单元Whose dog is it?第一课时的教学内容。本单元的主要语言功能是学习动物正在进行时的时态的动词用法,表达出自己对动物的喜爱,从而达到学生能在平时生活中能够用英语进行对英语的介绍。并根据情景教学 Is he drinking water? Yes, he is./ No ,he isnt. He is .来进行询问和回答某人正在做某事。2、教学对象分析:五年级的孩子活泼可爱,敢想、敢说、敢做,求新求异的愿望非常强烈并且有一定的语言基础和语法功底。但随着学习任务的加重,学生的学习兴趣在逐渐降低,因此在这一学段主要是帮助学生确立正确的学习态度,把握有效的学习方法和学习策略,养成良好的学习习惯。在课堂教学中教师不能只通过简单的问题来贯穿课堂,还应当激发他们学习英语的兴趣,注重活动,如:游戏,竞赛,表演等帮助学生突破学习困难,获得学习知识的快乐和学习方法。二、教学目标:1知识目标:(1)认读单词 playing,sleeping, climbing ,eating, drinking(2)能听、说、认、读 Is he ing ? Yes,he is. /No,he isnt. The is ing. 2能力目标:(1)能够把所学的语言与生活实际结合起来,用英语做事情。3情感态度目标:培养学生对英语学习的兴趣。4.学习策略目标:积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务;主动向老师或同学请教;在学习中集中注意力;积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流;三、教学重难点:1、教学重点:掌握句型Is he ing ? Yes,he is. /No,he isnt. The is ing. 2、教学难点: 现在进行时态的用法四、教学准备:PPT, CD-Rom,一张听力材料,评价卡片五、教学步骤:Step1 Warm up:1. Greetings and sing a song.- Walking walkingT: Hello, boys and girls. Ss: Hello, Teacher.T: How are you today?Ss: Im fine,thank you ,and you?T: Im fine,thank you sit down please.let sing a song together ok?Ss : ok.【设计意图:师生互相问候,课前唱歌,创设轻松和谐的教学氛围。】2. Chant.T:Now lets chant。Ont two three go!Ss: chant .T: Woo ,everybody did a good job.【设计意图:在chant 中复习旧知,拉近师生之间的距离,活跃课堂。】Step 2 Lead in1. Free talk.Talk about animals.T: Look at the picture.What are these?Ss: dog cat rabbit bird pig.T:Wonderful.Do you like them?Ss: Yes.T: So today our task is talk about the what are the animals doing in the park【设计意图:利用free talk 的方式来学习本单元新知识,为本堂课打下良好的基础,同时也为本堂做好铺垫。】Step 3 :Presentation1. Le6ts try.图片呈现,引导教学。T: Who is she?S: Chen JieT: And the dog is Chen Jies dog. His name is Fido. Do you like the dog?S: Yes.T: But I cant find Fido now. Lets listen. And tell me where is Fido now? OK?S: OkT: 播放录音T: Where is Fido now?S: He is in the living room?T: Look! What is he doing in living room?S: He is sleeping.(操练Sleeping)【设计意图:直接课文,较快将学生带入课文的情境。】2. Look at the picture ,talk about the picture and then listen to the tape answer the question.T: Look. Just now Fido is in the living room. But now where is he ?S: He is in the kitchen.T: What is he doing?S:Is he eating?(操练eating)T: Maybe he is eating.S: Is he drinking?(操练drinking)T:Maybe he is eating.S: Is he climbing? playing? sleeping(操练climbing playing sleeping?利用Is he ing? 句型操练)T: Good job. Lets listen. Is he eating ? Is he drinking?(播放录音)T: Is he drinking?S:No,he isnt.T: Is he eating?S: Yes, he is .(操练,yes, he is . No, he isnt.)T: So now Fido is eating now. Can Sam take him to the park?S: Yes.T: You also can say of course(操练 Can I take him to the park? Of course.)【设计意图:通过听力和问题相结合,学生带着问题听力 看录像,回答问题,加强了学生的自主学习能力,也能更好的让学生在课堂中理解课文文本的情境。】1. Listen and imitate.T: now lets listen and imitate ok?Ss: ok.(播放录音)2. Read in group. And role play.T: Lets read it in your group. And you can make a role play in your group.【设计意图:跟读来了解学生的句子和单词的认读情况,及时了解学生的掌握情况,并及时尽情教学的跟进。】Step4 Practice:1. Look at the picture of the park. Talk about the picture.T: Look at the park. There are so many animals. What are they doing right now?S: The bird is flying.S: The pig is eating.S: The cat is sleeping.S: The dog is playing.S: The monkey is climbing.S: The dog is drinking.T: Very good.【设计意图:通过看图说句子的方式来帮助学生进行理解,同时也活跃了课堂气氛,拓展了学生的综合运用能力】2. Pair work.T:Now please talk to your partner. What are the animals doing?【设计意图:给与孩子机会自己练习对话,让他们在平时生活中也能实际应用到课堂上所学的知识。】3. Find the rules.T: lets read the sentence and find the rules.
