            Unit2: My favorite season Part A Period 1Teaching Aims: 1. Enable the Ss to listen, speak, read and write a word or phrase: spring, summer, autumn, winter.2. Enable the Ss to sing the song .3. Enable the Ss to grasp the main structures.Difficulties and Key points1. master the four skills words: spring, summer, autumn, winter.2. The main structures: Which season do you like best? I like. Teaching Aids:We will use the tape-recorder, CAI, some pictures, real things and word-cards.Teaching Procedures:Step 1.Warm-up: 1. Greetings.2. Sing a song .Whats your favourite season?T: Do you like the music, children? And what is it about?Ss: Yes, I do, and its about the four seasons.(Four seasons make a year. )Step 2. Presentation1. Free talk T: How many years are there in a year? What are they? Ss: Four seasons. Theyre spring, summer, autumn, winter. (Ask a volunteer to be a little teacher.)2. The main structure. T: Todays topic is “My favourite season” My favorite animal is rabbit, my favorite color is red. Do you want to know my favorite season? Ss: Yes, but I dont know. T: You can ask me a question. Ss: Whats your favorite season? / Which season do you like best? / Do you like summer? 3. Teacher writes one of the questions on the Bb, and help the children understand it well. Practice in pairs with “Which season do you like best? I like.” Look, I like _because I can play with water.Step 3. Talk about the seasons. The students neednt to raise the hands and they just stand up and tell us their sentences one by one. Such as: Summer is hot, I like winter because I can play with snow.Step 4. Read the dialogue and discuss it in class. 1. Ask and answer. Teachers questions: Q1: Which season does Mike like best? And why? Q2: Does Wu Yifan like spring best? Why? Students questions: . (Encourage the students to ask questions about the dialogue.) 2. Role-play Three students a group work together to act the dialogue. And then show their dialogue in class. 3. Do a survey. Teacher acts a reporter and finish the chart first, then ask the students to interview someone and finish their chart. Report the news. _likes _because he/she_.Step 5. Production. Which teacher/ animal/ schoolthing/ book. do you like best? What is your favourite _? Ask the students to make a dialogue in fours according to the pictures on Screen, and then show their new dialogue in the front. Step 6. Homework A) Recite the dialogue. B) Make a new dialogue if you can.Design of the BoardUnit 2 My favourite seasonWhich season do you like best?I like summer because I can play with water with my baby.Unit 2 My favourite season教学反思一、教材内容分析人教课标版教材的的编写以话题为纲,以交际功能和语言结构为主线,逐步引导学生能够运用英语完成由实际意义的语言任务,即:话题-功能-结构-任务。本课是人教课标版小学英语五年级下册Unit 2 My Favorite Season第一课时,包括A部分Lets learn ,Lets start,Lets find out。主要学习四季单词并且简单描述自己喜欢的季节。内容与学生的生活联系密切。符合小学生兴趣的需求,易于学生理解和掌握。第二单元主要话题之一是season,所以首先应让学生掌握四季单词的名称,这是十分重要的,也是必要的,是接下来的话题学习的基础。二、教学对象分析五年级学生的模仿力和记忆力强,爱玩、爱唱、爱游戏、爱活动,他们学习英语的基本形式是模仿,这就要求教师选择合适的方法,让学生易于接受。五年级学生在已有了一定英语储备之后,具备了一定的英语知识,有自己独到的思维意识,重视在群体或伙伴交往中的地位和作用。因此,采用表演,对话交流以及任务型的教学模式进行学习语言,运用语言是最恰当的。三、教学方法分析 结合本节课的教学内容,充分考虑到五年级学生的认知规律与能力,以学生为主体,以人为本,运用现代信息技术优化教学手段,采用情境教学法、全身动作反应法、整体语言教学法、任务型教学途径等激励情趣,提高综合运用语言的能力,从而提高英语课堂的效率。4、 优点及不足坚持优点: 本节课成功之处,在开课和会话教学过程中,给了孩子很多开放式话题,让孩子体验到“动动脑子摘到苹果”的幸福感。如:1. 想知道老师最喜欢的季节,孩子通过提问的方式进行。这样,既让英语回到了语言功能的本真, 又使孩子改变以往的老师提问学生被动回答的方式,让孩子成为主动,学生问老师答。2. 针对对话,让孩子发现问题,提出问题,再找到答案。这样正是自学的一种好方式。3. 采访活动让和孩子打开了话题,将今天所学进行活学活用,去了解自己的
