Period 1 1a-2c1.-Why do you like pandas? -Because theyre cute.2. -Where are lions from? -They are from South Africa.教学过程Step I Lead in Play a short movie about koalas.And then say, this is a lovely animal, do you like it? Yes, so well learn some animals today. (设计意图:绘声绘色的视频能够吸引学生的注意力,并且学生通过观看视频能够了解考拉的饮食习惯,睡眠习惯,肢体特征等基本信息)Step II New wordsShow the pictures of koala, panda, elephant, lion, tiger and giraffe quickly and ask students to say the kind of animals.(设计意图:图片提示加上学生们对这些生词不陌生这两个因素使学生对这个猜图游戏很感兴趣. ) Give them two minutes to remember the words ,and then ask one student say the word ,at the same time, the partner point out the right picture on the screen.(设计意图:1,锻炼学生与搭档配合能力 2, 通过由慢到快地说出单词来调动学生积极性 3,检测学生单词掌握程度)I like koalas because they are cute, teach “cute, scary and beautiful”Step III Presentation Look at the picture on page 25, we are in a zoo, match the animals with the words on the left, ask two students to check the answer.(设计意图:巩固单词)Step IV ListeningPlay the listening material twice and ask two students to check the words they hear. Step V Pair workMake an example for students and encourage them to make their own conversations before the class.(设计意图:口语操练,检测口语发音及句型掌握程度.)Step VI Listening Pandas are from China, but where are lions from? Well, lets listen to another listening, I think you can finish it easily because you know /s/, / and /t/.(设计意图:学会预测听力,听过因素/s/, / and /t/判断生词)Play the listening twice and fill in the blanks ,then play it another two times to finish matching, at last , teach the three new words.Play it the last time,ask students to fill in the blanks (设计意图:听力填空有一定难度,意在提高优生的听力水平)Step VII Pair workAsk students make conversations and show it.Step VIII Ho
