Analysis of the students The students have learned the questions with what, why, where,how and some adjectives. They can use the adjectives theyve learned to describe someone or something. They can also make simple conversations in pairs or groups. In this unit there are some weather phenomenons, they must be interested. Its good for learning for them. Teaching Methods 1. Revision Make a conversation with some students. A: What do you do on weekends? B: I usually go to the park with my parents. A: What do you do if it rains on weekend? B: I have to stay at home. .Step.1a New words 1. Show some pictures of rainy, sunny, windy and cloudy days , Ask students to say in English. 2. Read the new words, and have students repeat.3.Match the words with the pictures, and check the answers. Step . 1b 1c Listening practice and pairwork 1. Listen to the tape carefully. write the cities they hear in the boxes in the picture in 1a. Check the answers. 2. Look at the picture in 1a and have the class make conversations about them using the words in 1a. 3. Ask several pairs of students to share their conversations in class. Step . 2a 2b Listening practice (2a)1. Listen carefully and number the pictures they hear in the boxes in 2a. 2. Check the answers. (2b)3. Play the same recording once again. Match the names with the activities in 2b. 4. Go over the answers. Step . 2c Pairwork: 1.Make conversations like the one using the names and activities in the box in 2b. 2.Ask several pairs of students to act out their conversations.
