新目标英语八下任务型教学设计Unit 2 What should I do? (period 1)东京城镇中学 魏海燕教材分析本节课要求学生学会should 和 could在英语中的习惯用法。并使用这些习惯用法就自己生活、学习中存在的某些实际问题提出建议;拒绝、接受别人的建议。在学习贴近学生生活实际的语言知识的同时,特别关注学生生活和学习中的真实困难和烦恼。进一步引导学生对自我和周围世界进行比较客观的认识、评价,发展学生主动解决问题的自我意识和行为能力。发展学生与人和谐交往的能力;培养在学生交流中寻求帮助。既坚持自己观点、又听取别人建议。教学内容1. To learn the words and expressions about this period. 2. To talk about the problems serious or not for them in daily life.3. To learn how to describe the problems you have or how to help others to give him or her some advice.教学目标()知识与能力1. Knowledge aims: Words and expressions:serious, loud, argue, play, argument, either, out of style, keep out, call up, want sb to do sth, argue with, How to use should, could, shouldnt;2. Ability aims: Express the good ideas to solve the problems;Help others when they are in trouble.(二)过程与方法首先谈论生活中严肃或不严肃的事情;通过听力训练和口语表达学会如何表达自己的困难,如何给别人提建议等;通过谈论表达自己对有些困难的理解,提出个人不同的建议。(三)情感态度价值观通过合作学习,发展学生人际交往的能力;开阔思路,寻求帮助。通过与别人交流思想,达到互相学习和拓展知识的目的。教学重、难点1.should /could 情态动词的用法。2.如何提出建议。 媒体平台教具学具的准备教师应准备好录音机、磁带、图片、调查表等并设计一系列的教学课件。学生应准备好学习用品;问题、建议调查表等。2.多媒体课件简介() 课件构想1、教师可以设计一系列卡通图片,(1)、设计一个卡通小孩由于个子矮够不到篮筐并感叹:Its so high!.What should I do ? 然后请学生给出建议。(2)、给出一张过时衣服的图片,并同时给出“out of style”短语,旁边有一个时髦女士说:My clothes are out of style. .What should I do ? 然后请学生给出建议。(3)给出两个滑稽图片表示没有钱用了,引出enough一词,再次寻求建议,引导学生使用borrow一词。(4)、下一张是两个人吵架的图片,引出argue with sb ,引导学生使用write sb a letter形式给出建议。(5)、播放一张舞会图片,表明音乐声太大隔壁的人受不了的图片,出示“too lould、play等词,进一步引出本文的重点词汇和句型。2、教师根据教材设计一系列的活动课件,基本与教材相同。() 素材准备教师还可以设计一份调查样表,NameProblemAdvice教学设计教学步骤设计意图Review and leading in (8)Step one: Free talk and leading in 1.Act your own dialogue. 2.Have a free talk with Ss. In daily life ,people often meet some problems, for example, On your way home ,you saw someone fall down from his bike . What should you say and do ? your close friend looks pale .What should you say and do ?When we meet these problems ,what should we do ?.Write a problem, make a group work to describe the advice. For example: I want to buy a new guitar but I dont have enough money. What should I do ?1) Wait until next year.2) Dont buy a guitar.3) Borrow one from your friends.4) Buy a used guitar.5) Get a part time job to save some money.6) Join the music club.7) Sale old things to get more money让学生每节课都以抽签的方式表演自己的对话,提高学习兴趣。导出并板书课题引导学生给出建议并板书Pre-task任务前活动 (12 )1. Step Two:Vocabulary and Presentation1. To learn some key vocabulary. Explain the usage of the words.serious, , loud, argue, could, argument, out of style, keep out, call up2Look at the pictures and guess what is the matter. Have a discussion to solve them.利用课件展示词汇和句型引导学生学会描述问题和给出建议While-task任务环活动(20) Post-task任务后活动(4”)Step three:practicingTask1:1a1、 show the instructions to the students.2、Point to the problems and ask a student to read the problems to the class.3、 Point out the headings in the box to the class. 4、 Ask students to write the problems in the Serious or Not serious columns.5、Talk about the answers with the class. Ask, Who put My parents want me to stay at home every night. in the Serious column? Ask the same questions about the other items. Discuss which problems students thought were the most serious.Step four: listeningTask2:1b 1、 Point to the pictures in activity la. Ask different students to say what they see in each picture.2、 Read the instructions to students. Say, Listen to the conversation. In the chart, circle the problems that you hear the girls talking about.3、 Play the recording the first time. Students only listen.4、Play the recording a second time. Students circle the problems they hear.5、 Correct the answers.Step five :consolidationTask3:1c 1、 write the words“ could, should, and shouldnt on the hoard next to the chart. Read the problem to the class again and help the class give advice using the words could, should, and shouldnt. Repeat each piece of advice in your own words to help students understand it.2、 At the end of the practice say, In this unit we are going to talk about problems people have and learn how to give these people adviceto tell people what we think they should do.3、make a survey(show the form): interview three of your classmates, discuss their problems and try to give advice each other Step six: summary and homeworkReview the grammar box .Ss say the questions and the responses .Explain the differences between could/should .Homework:1. Go over the words .2. My clothes are out of style , what should I do ? Please write me a letter and give me some advice 通过活动让学生进一步巩固句型、加深记忆,为下一步活用打基础。通过听力练习继续巩固句型,训练听力技巧。在任务中引导学生思考could 与should的不同并精讲知识点。最终的任务是调查同学们现有的烦恼、问题并能用所学的知识给出建议,解决实际问题。先让学生自己总结并用多媒体呈现本节课的小结。作业:让学生帮我解决实际问题并给我写一封信。知识点讲解1.My parents want me to stay at home every night.我的父母让我每天晚上都呆在家里。want sb. to do sth.让某人做某事妈妈让她每天早上喝牛奶。 Mother wants her to drink milk every morning.父母想让我们打扫自己的房间。 Parents want us to clean our own rooms.2.I dont have enough money.我没有足够的钱。enough 足够的 修饰名词:enough +n.修饰形容词或副词:adj /adv + enough他时间不够了,不能马上回来。 He didnt have enough time. He couldnt come back at once.这间房间够大,能容纳一百人。 This room is big enough to hold 100 people.3.He doesnt have any money, either.他也没有钱。either 也(用于否定句) too:也(用于肯定句或疑问句)你也喜欢住在北京吗? Do you like living in Beijing, too?他没有钱。 我也没有钱。 He doesnt have any money. I dont, either.4argue with sb.about sth 与某人争论某事5. advice是不可数名词,可用some,any, much, a little, a piece of等修饰。 advice后接on引出对某个方面内容的建议。6maybe 与may bemaybe 是副词,一般作状语,“很可能,大概“相当于perhaps。而may be是情态动词加动词原形,共同做谓语。Maybe you are right. = You may be right. 或许你是对的。7 could 与should的用法could用于过去时或表示委婉的说法,还可以表示可能性和许可。在表示许可时,may比较正式。should是助动词shall的过去式,也相当于一个情态动词,没有人称和数的变化,用以表示劝告或推荐,译为“应该”,shouldnt “ 不应该”, 后面直接跟动词原形。He should stop smoking.You shouldnt drink too much.1.write sb a letter2.clothes作主语时,谓语动词用复数,但前面有suit, pair时,后面谓语动词用单数。板书设计 Unit 2 What should I do? Maybe you should buy some new clothes.教学后记本节课主要是通过基础知识的训练,让学生更好的掌握目标语言,并运用目标语言完成任务。所以基础学习的准确性和层次性很重要。任务不能过快、过多。激发兴趣是必要的。这样才能鼓励学生用英语表达自己的思想,培养学生主动解决问题的能力。新目标英语八年级下Unit 2第一课时课堂教学反思东京城镇中学 魏海燕教学过程中,我在明确了任务目标后,充分挖掘教材智力因素,重新设计活动内容,使学生能在新的情境中运用所学语言。这样学生才能真正发挥其主体作用,在完成任务过程中主动积极地获得学习经验,享受成功的喜悦,从而提高学习兴趣和成就动机。1.对话表演引入话题。学生的对话表演内容是我上节课让学生准备的作业,既复习了旧知识也鼓励学生开口讲英语表演英语。同时老师可以就话题导入新课。T:What happened to him?Did he feel happy?S:No.(by most of the students)T:What should he do?Can you give him some advice?S:Yes./ No.(The answers may different.)T:I have a problem Today we are going to learn how to talk about the problems and give others some advice. 2.引入问题,导出新课我用英语讲出我的一个问题:I want to buy a new guitar but I dont have enough money. I dont know what I should do .Can you give me some advice?在黑板上写出问题:What should I do ? 学生们立刻会纷纷发言,谈自己的看法,展开话题。有的说:You should wait until next year. 有的说:Borrow one. 有的说:Buy a used guitar. 还有的说:Get a parttime job . 然后,老师归纳总结,把学生们的建议写在黑板上。通过参与问题的讨论为学生创造了大量说英语的机会。3、自主探究,理解新知给学生提供No.1、2、3、4四个选题;然后,把学生分成四组,每组选派代表抽取其中一个选题,完成相应的任务活动,当学生们抽到自己的题目时,马上展开小组讨论,运用情态动词should、 could
