The Analysis of Teaching Material This lesson is the first lesson of unit3, it focuses on how to ask and answer the questions of food, and some names of food for lunch and dinner. It relates to Ss daily life, but there are many new words in this lesson, so it raises the difficulty of teaching.II. The Analysis of Students Students are in Grade5 now, but the students in our school are in different levels, not all of them can reach the level of Grade5, some students even can not remember the 26 letters. But most of them have interests in English, they are active and lovely.III Teaching Aims A Ability Aims: 1. Students are able to say and write the names of some vegetables and meat, like green beans and fish. 2. Students can communicate with others about :what would you like for lunch?B Knowledge Aims: 1 words about vegetables and meat: eggplant, tomato, potato, pork , mutton, green beans, fish 2. sentences about how to ask and answer your preference on food. What would you like for ? Id like. C Emotional Aims: 1 Students are able to know that one should eat more vegetable and fruit, they are healthy food. 2 Students can develop the conscious of communicate with each other.IV Teaching keys and difficulties: A keys: the words of vegetable and meat, like green beans, eggplant, mutton B difficulties: the number of new words in this unit is large and some words are not easy to remember, like green beans.V. Teaching methods:Communicative Approach, Situational Approach, Multimedia Approach.VI. Teaching time: 40 minutesVII. Teaching aids: word cards, box, recorder, CAIVIII. Teaching procedures:1 Greeting : good afternoon, boys and girls2 Lead-in: lets singreview the song we have learnt in unit2. Ask student what day is it today? After got the answers ,we can know that tomorrow is Saturday, and our friend Xiao Wanzi is going to hold a party.
