Peter, could you please take out the trash?请你把垃极倒掉好吗? Sure, Mom.可以,妈妈。 Could you please do the dishes? 请洗盘子好吗? Sorry, I cant. I have to do my homework.抱歉,我不能。我得做作业。(1)在表示请求帮助或请求允许的疑问句中,常用could代替can,以表示礼貌,委婉或不确定的语气,而can则不具备这些语气。这种情况下不能把could看作can的过去式。以上两句中用could是为了表示礼貌的请求。表示请求帮助或请求允许时,除了can, could之外,还可以用may,句子的表达方式也各有不同,可以用不同的方式来表示同一个概念。例: Could/Can/May I use your car for a day? I wonder if I could use your car for a day? Do you mind if I use your car for a day? 对于、句所作允答可以各种各样,如同意可以说Yes,或Sure或Certainly,还可说Yes, (do) please. 或Of course. SectionA3a-3c 【学习目标】1. 能读懂短文并会做相关练习;2.能够理解文中词语并进行写的训练; 3.能正确区分提出有礼貌的请求和征求允许的句型,并选出正确的答语。 【重点,难点】能够学会对提出有礼貌的请求和征求允许的句型以及如何礼貌应答总结【学习过程】 【一】自主学习 明确目标一、预习3a-3c.完成下列翻译练习1.扔下_ 2.带某人去散步_3.整曰/夜_ 4.做家务_5.闲逛_ 6.把某物传给某人_7.把某物借给某人_ 8.讨厌做某事_9.做杂务_ 10.帮助某人干某事_二、认真观察Grammer Focus总结提出有礼貌的请求和征求允许的句型以及如何礼貌应答。三、知识点提示:For one week, she did not do any housework and neither did I. 她一个星期没做家务,我也没做。 用法:neither在句中是副词,意为“也不”,放在句首,表示前面否定的内容也适用于另一个人或物,句子须采用部分倒装。此时也可用nor替换neither使用。如:You didnt see him,and neither did I. 你没有看见他,我也没有。 拓展:neither其他用法:(1)neither用做形容词,表示“(两者)都不”,置于单数名词之前。如:Neither chair is comfortable.两把椅子坐起来都不舒服。 (2)neither用做代词,表示“两者都不”。如:Neither of my parents enjoys music.我父母都不喜欢音乐。 (3)neither用做连词,常用在短语neither.nor.中,意为“既不.也不.”,这个结构作主语时,谓语动词必须与nor后面的名词或代词在人称及数上保持一致。如:Neither the teacher nor his students know how to work out the problem.老师和他的学生们都不知道怎么算那道题。通过预习你还有什么不懂的地方【二】交流展示. 1.阅读前:学习生词,谈论3a中的图片。 2.阅读中:认真阅读3a中的问题,带着问题阅读,找出答案。 3.阅读后:完成文后练习。【三】合作探究1. What / How about + sth. /doing sth.? 肯定回答有Sure. /Of course. / Certainly. /OK. /Great. / Well. / Good idea. / I agree. 等。否定回答有Sorry / No, you cant. 等。 2.认真4a中的问题,完成4a中的练习.borrow和lend:borrow和lend都有“借”的意思,但它们的含义和用法有所不同。 borrow表示“借入”,即把本来不属于自己的东西借来暂时使用,常与介词from连用。如:You can borrow a book from the library. lend表示“借出”,即把属于自己的东西借给别人暂时使用,常与介词to连用,也可以跟双宾语。如:Hes going to lend his bike to Tom. It is the parents job to provide a clean and comfortable environment at home for their children.此处代词it仅为形式上的主语, 真正的主语是to provide for their children。我们也可将It is ones job (duty, ) to do something.视为一个固定的句型, 表示“做某事是某人的工作(职责等)”。如:Its every teachers job to explain things clearly to the students.把东西给学生讲明白是每一位老师应做的事情。provide 作动词,意为“ 提供;供应”。provide sb. with sth.或provide sth. for sb.意为“为某人提供某物”。如:The movie theater provides us with good service.电影院为我们提供了良好的服务。His school provided a house for him.他的学校为他提供了一所房子。(2). he often fell ill and his grades dropped.ill & sick:相同点:ill 与sick 都可以表示“生病的”,都可作表语。如:Alice was ill / sick yesterday.不同点:表示“生病”时,sick 可作定语,但ill 通常不作定语。如:Could you help the sick girl?【运用】根据句意,用ill或sick填空。(1) The driver sent the _ baby to the hospital.(2) My brother is _.
