Unit 5 Why do you like pandas?(Section B)Teaching Plan Teachingideology Based on student-oriented teaching method,this reading class will be divided into two parts“fast-reading, careful-reading”. The motivation of students study is based on the detail exercises. The process of finishing the exercises acts as the process of learning. Make the students learn to study by practicing and use in practice. Pay more attention to the students life and experience. Encourage students to take part in all kinds of practice actively. Improve students confidence and reading speed and efficiency by getting new skills TheAnalysis ofTeaching material1、The passage is come from the second volume for grade sevens students .Unit 5 This unit is about telling something about animals. It aims at protecting the animals. By getting reading skills and commutative skills improve students language ability2、Teaching material:warming-up 1. enjoy a video 2. tell me what animals you can see in this video 3. Do you like animals?Today we will learn elephants from Thailand. 3、This passage mainly introduces the elephants from Thailand. The passage consists of 3 paragraphs. The first paragraph is a general introduction of the elephants. Para.2 introduces the characters of elephants. The last paragraph tells about the current situation of the elephants. The topic is to save the elephants.The analysis of learning conditionThe students are from grade7 in junior school. As Junior school students, they have achieved certain English level and they have the ability to get the basic idea of the reading.
