Some tapes of different kinds of music 多媒体使用:五、教学过程:(一)复习旧知识1、 导入新课(板书话题)Play the tapes of different kinds of music for the students, and ask Do you like it? What kind of music do you like? I like music. Because It is interesting=I like music that is interesting. Now we will learn this kind of sentences. (二)新课导学(Let students make these sentences like this then ask them to look at 1a and understand them. Next let them make pairwork and read 2a and 2b,understand these sentences:I like music that is loud.I like singer who writer their own music.(三)自学新知First, let students look at the 1a and make the sentences: I like music thatCheck their answer and ask them to read these sentences.Second, listen to the tape and do the 1bThird, have them talk about the music they like, then let them act it.Fourth, ask students to explain whats the meaning of 2a and 2b, then listen to the tape, and finish 2a and 2b.Fifth, pairwork, make conversations using the information from 2a and 2b or make their own conversations, next act them.(四)检测新学 1 My sister prefers music_ has great lyrics.2 the man _ is talking with Mr Brown is our new English teacher.3 Xiao Ming likes sandwiches_ have turkey and rrelish.4 The little girl is afraid of movies _ have aliens and UFOS in them.5 The reporter is the woman _ is wearing a red blouse. Its name is Come on, Join us. I like it because I can do exercises with it. But I dont like the beginning of it, too loud noise. It reminds me of my middle school time. Today well talk something about CDs(二)新课导学First ask students to look at the 3a and understand the sentences, underline the important phrases. Second let them talk with their partners about a CD they listened to recently, ask and answer the questions in 3a.Third according to No.4 on page 46, make a survey and ask a reporter to report their results. (三)自学新知(l)Revise the relative clause with that by asking question what kind of music do you like? Get the students to answer,I like music thatI love music thatI prefer music thatFirst (2)Revise the relative clause with who by asking question What kind of musicians do you like? Why do you like it?What kind of CDs do you like? Why?What kind of singers do you like? Why?What kind of groups do you like? Why?2) Ask, Whats your favorite band? Let one of the students answer it. Then repeat the questions on favorite book and favorite movie. Write the three questions on the blackboard.(二)新课导学1) let students talk about what their favourite band/book/ movie is ? why? then ask, whats your friend/parent favourite band/book/ movie ? why?2) look at 2a and 2b, guess ,what are they talking about? Next, how to finish 2bGroupwork. Ask students to discuss their favourite things from activity 1. say why they like each thing. Try to use the sentences with the Attributive clause we have met in this unit to help to make conversations.(三)自学新知First, ask some students to tell their favourite band, book and movie, then let them write the names on the blackboard. Next ask why.Second, Play the tape the first time. Tell the children just to listen to it carefully and try to get the main idea and not to write. Then play the recording again. Tell them to write down the answers this time. check their answer.Third, Ask two students to read the sample conversation. What kind of clothes do you like?What kind of writers do you like?Whats your favorite movie? Whats your favorite band? Whats your favorite Photographer? And Ask some students to give answers.Today well learn something about them.(二)新课导学Let them read the text, four students in a group to understand the text. Then underline the phrases and sentences. And answer the follwing questions:1: Is Yellow River Fishermen Hung Taos latest movie?2: Does the reviewer like Hung Tao?3: What has Hung Tao done over the years?4: Does the reviewer think Yellow River Fishermen is the best movie of Hung Tao?
