人教新目标版八年级上册Unit 3 Im more outgoing than my sister.教学设计第一课时 Section A (1a-2d)课型:Listening & Speaking教学思路:本课主要涉及双胞胎的个性的异同。在授课时先让学生观察一些名人的特点,导入话题词汇及做1a,目标: 1.熟记outgoing,loudly, quietly,better,hard-working的比较级形式。 2.学习一些表示个性特征的反义词:tall-short;thin-heavy;quietly-loudly 3.能熟练运用“主语+be+形容词比较级+than.”对人的外貌及性格特征做对比。重点难点: 1.掌握一些形容词的比较级的变化规则。 2.运用形容词的比较级表述双双胞胎之间的异同。 3.掌握以下重点句子:Tina is taller than Tara. Sam has longer hair than Tom. But Sam plays them better than Tom. And she also sings more loudly than Tara.教具:多媒体。教学过程:Step 1 Lead-in (1a)本阶段的活动是为下面的听力做准备,教师从网上下载一些典型的名人的照片,起导入话题和复习词汇的作用。1. Lets learn the new words in unit 3.1. 先用所学的形容词描述外貌和性格特征,If we describe a person, we always use some adjectives. lets look at the screen, what are the famous people like? Ask and answer:Whats the famous people like? then 并板书:long hair, short hair; tall, short ; fat/heavy, thin; outgoing , quietly/serious2. 1a look at your English book and match each word with its opposite.Step 2 listening to 1b1.Teacher:If we put these adjectives into conversations, can you tell me how they describe the twins?Lets listen to 1b together and number the pairs of twins in the picture , Play the tape record, at the same time,in conversation1,stop when”Sam has longer hair than Tom” and in conversation2, “Tina is taller than Tara” 板书蓝字部分目的:引入形容词的比较级及主要句子结构。1. Check the answer using the flash.(1) Sam has _ than Tom. Tom has _ than Sam.(2) Tara is _ than Tina. Tina is _ than Tara.(3) Peter is _ than Paul. Paul is _ than Peter.Key: (1) longer, shorter hair (2) shorter, wilder (3) heavier, shorterLets look at the two sentences on the blackboard, what rules can we find from them ? 形容词后发生了变化,we can see the rules on the screen,然后进行比较,引出本单元的主要句子结构“S + be + adj.比较级+than+被比较对象”。注意先引出单音节形容词比较级,再引出双音节和多音节形容词比较级。2. 根据黑板上的例句,教师引导学生归纳形容词的比较级的构成形式 then lets look at the screen and after that do the exercises on it.3.看P17的图, 两人一问一答,练习1c的对话。师生练习之后,教师点名请2组各2名学生进行展示Tom and Sam,Peter and Paul, 并进行点评,了解学生掌握情况。Model: A: Thats Tara, isnt it? B: No, it isnt. Its Tina. Tina is taller than Tara. And she also sings more loudly then Tara. Step3.Listening ( 2a & 2b)本部分听力目的在于训练学生从听力材料中获取有关描述比较人物不同的信息,任务完成以学生能够掌握对话的主要信息为标准。1. Now lets do some listening for 2a & 2b.(按课本上的要求做练习。)Who wants to come here and do 2a and 2b for us?,Key: Tina is friendlier and funnier. Tina can run faster and jump higher ;smarter; lazier. Tara works as hard as Tina; gets up earlier than Tina.2. 如果时间允许的话, 教师可以让学生听录音写录音稿, 这对提高学生的听力有好处。Step 3 Pair work ( 2c & 2d)本部分是听力活动的继续, 目的是使学生掌握听力活动中所展示的词语句法, 更重要的是促使学生开口, 能初步掌握形容词比较级的用法。1. Student A 看P18-2c的表格, Student B 看P81的表格, 两人一问一答。Model: A: Is Tom smarter than Sam? B: No, he isnt. Sam is smarter than Tom.3. 角色扮演。 首先阅读2d的对话, 然后教师对其中的语法和长句、难句进行讲解。 再全班分男女角色齐声朗读对话。 Step4 Write and guess Now look at the blackboard,today we have learned comparative forms of adjectives and how to compare people.Now lets write a few sentences to describe your friend, use “ than me”, then have the other students guess who your friend is.写几句话描述一下你的朋友,用到“她比我更”句型,然后让其他同学猜猜你写的是谁,at least ask a pair of students to show their results through writing and guessing。taller wilder calmer thinner smarter bigger eyes smaller nose longer hair more outgoing / serious/ athleticIn case they cant guess it right, write one or two more sentences about his/ her distinguishing feature. 以防大家猜不出来,你还得写两句描述他最大特征的话。family nam
