I hope (that) I will be more careful with my studies. 2. Why dont you stop biting your fingernails? 你为什么不停止咬手指甲呢？ Why dont you do sth. 你为什么不做某事呢？例如： Why dont you tell me something about it? Why dont you go to see a doctor? 同义句：Why not do sth. 为什么不做某事呢？例如： Why not go to the Amusement Park? Why not have an English Party? 3. I dont feel sorry for myself. 我并不为我自己感到难过。 feel sorry for 为感到难过/遗憾 例如： Lin Tao didnt pass the maths exam yesterday. We feel sorry for him. Mary broke her left leg just now. I feel sorry for her. 4. I wish I were thin and cool. 我希望我瘦并且很酷。 此句为虚拟语气。 I wish I were a president of this school. I wish I were you. I wish you were that film star. 5. I hope I will be more outgoing. 我希望我更外向些。 more outgoing 更外向 例如： 多音节形容词比较级的结构就是：more多音节形容词。本单元的多音节形容词：6. I usually dont say anything. 我通常不说话。 同义句：I usually say nothing. 7. When I do speak. I feel like a fool because I think people are looking at me strangely. 当我真的开口讲话时，我感觉像个傻瓜，因为我觉得人们在以异样的目光看着我。 （1）I do speak. 句中的do为了强调谓语动词，例如： I do love English, it is too interesting. They are much better listeners than extroverts. 他们与外向人相比是更好的倾听者。 much better 好得多 形容词比较级前加程度副词：much, a little, far, even等，表示程度 例如： a little thinner 瘦一点儿 even worse 甚至更糟糕了11.
