Unit8 Is there a post office near here?( Section B1a-1d ) 说课稿Good afternoon, honorable judges. Im glad to be here to present my lesson. The lesson I am going to talk about is Unit 8 Is there a post office near here? Section B, Grade 7. I will talk about it from six parts. They are Teaching Material, Students Analysis, Teaching Methods and Learning Strategies, Teaching Aids, Teaching Procedure and Blackboard Design. I will introduce my teaching plan one by one. Now, lets begin. Teaching MaterialLets see the first part, Teaching Material. In this part, I will analyze the teaching material from three aspects. They are: Status and Function, Teaching Objectives, and Key and Difficult Points. We will see the Status and Function first. The lesson I am going to talk about is Unit8, Section B. It is selected from Grade 7. The principle of the book Go for it is that knowledge is for using. The central idea of it is to challenge students to gain communicative competence in the study of the culture of this language. Each unit is divided into two parts, they are Section A and Section B. In Section A students have learned the sentence pattern “there be.”, the preposition of locality. In section B students have to use what they have learned to make more practices to master these sentences structures. This is section B.The next aspect is Teaching Objectives. I divide the objectives into knowledge objectives, ability objectives and moral objectives. First, knowledge objectives. In this unit, students should try their best to master some new words, useful expression and structure.Second, ability objectives. In the language learning process, the four skills are inseparable and mutual interactive, they all contribute to develop their language skill . In this part, I will mainly focus on students listening and speaking ability. The Learning strategy is about the communicative strategy, to learn to cooperate with others and communicate with others on datesNext, moral objectives. According to the new standard of English curriculum, moral education plays an important role in language teaching. In this unit, through all kinds of teaching activities, students can be better at communicate with others, and how to tell others how to get to some places.The last aspect, Key and Difficult Points. For the key points, students will learn some words and sentence structures about talking about how to get to one place. In terms of difficult points, students should pay more attention to when questions and possessives. To imagine and describe their own parties is also a challenge for ss. I will provide lots of activities to help students grasp these k & d points. Students AnalysisAs we know ,students is the center of teaching activity, they play an important role in teaching procedure. so Next is Students analysis. Most of the junior middle school students are aged from 13 to 15. They are active and creative, with strong abilities of memorizing, imitating and performing. But they are also may be shy, do not good at communication. So Ill provide real contexts, various tasks and challenging activities. The purpose is to motivate students learning enthusiasm and cooperative spirit. Teaching Methods and Learning StrategiesAccording to the analysis of students, I will use several methods in my class. Then lets see part three, Teaching Methods and Learning Strategies. The teaching methods Ill use are: Task-based TM, situational TM, and Interactive TM. The first, TBTM. I designed some practical tasks close to students daily life according to the content of this lesson. The tasks are Discussion, Listening, Group work, Pair work. Second, situational TM. I will use Game, Competition, Role play to set particular situations for students to make practices. The last one is interactive TM. By doing Dialogue, Discussion, Ask & Answer ITM is also used to achieve the goal of student-teacher interaction and student-student interaction. For students, I will guide them to master the learning strategies gradually, prediction, cooperation autonomous learning will be encouraged in my class. .Teaching Aids In terms of teaching aid, Id like to use some real objects, cartoons, pictures, tape recorders and charts to help me during the class. Using these aids, I can not only attract students attention and interest, but also express knowledge more easily and clearly. Teaching ProcedureIf we say teaching methods and aids are important in a class, then teaching procedure will be the most important. It may decide whether a lesson is successful or not. So, lets move to Part Five, Teaching Procedure. I divide it into five parts. They are: preparation, presentation, practice, production and homework.PreparationIt is said that well began is half done. This means, preparation, as the very beginning of a class, is very important. So I will begin my class by showing them some pictures about places and ask them: what are they? How can we get there? From this, students will know the topic we will talk about this class very well.PresentationAfter this, we will come to presentation. First, I will show students a map. After that, I will ask them how to get to some places in the map? Then, they will have a discussion, I will give them a tip and help students answer these questions. For example, can you tell me the way to.? Yes, go alongat the first crossing” In this step, students will master the structure by ask-answer questions so students can know how to use it freely. Next I will show them some pictures, so that they can have an impression on the new words of section b, thus they can learn them naturally, these are new words, through the pictures, they can have a better understanding of them. Here I use interaction teaching method to help students review we have learned the last class. Meanwhile it arise students interests to the practice of this class. PracticeAfter learning the new words and the structure, students can have a listening practice, it can be divided into three steps, the first step, listen and finish1b, the second step, fill in the blanks in 1c then, listen again, according to the listening material, ask students to make a conversation. The third step, ask students to act conversation out in different roles. In this way, it can help students shape a good listening habit and to practice listening ability, meanwhile through role play, cooperation sprit in learning strategies can be presented perfectly.ProductionWith all the various activities above, students should know how to tell others the way to some places. So, I will ask them to do an introduction. students will be divided into 4 groups, each group will have a discussion on the topic, they will choose one student to make a repo
