For millions of tourists from all over the world, this ancient city in the northwest of China is a wonderful place to take a holiday. On the one hand, they come to Xian to visit places of interest. Xian is the eastern end of the Silk Road. Terracotta Army is the eighth wonder（奇迹）in the world. Famen temple is famous for holding the real finger bone of Sakyamuni (释迦摩尼)Buddha. There are lots of pictures and old things in Shaanxi history museum. It teaches people about the history and development of Xian, Shaanxi. Mount Hua is one of the five great mountains in China. Hua Qing pool was built by Emperor Xuanzong for his favorite lady, Yang Guifei. The City Wall of Xian is one of the oldest existing Chinese city wall. Now it is 12 meters tall, 12-14 meters wide, and over 14 kilometers long. Bell tower, a symbol of Xian, stands in the center of the downtown area where the four main streets meet. Big Wild Goose Pogoda is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for buddhists. One great thing about Xian is that it has many different kinds of delicious food.
