RevisionHave Ss revise the grammar they learned last period.Step 2. Listening 1. Pre-Listening(1) Get Ss to know some listening skills.For your reference: Try to catch the key words according to the task. Take notes of the important information if possible. Dont worry if you miss something.(2) Ask Ss to see the pictures and catch the information of the questions in Activity 1 on page 6.2. Whilelistening (1) Get Ss to listen to the tape, and then check the answers to the questions in Activity 1.(2) Let Ss listen to the tape and write down the answers to Activity 2.(3) Let Ss listen to the tape again and finish Activity 3.3. Post-listeningAsk Ss to work in pairs and discuss how to learn a kind of foreign language.Step 3 Everyday English and Pronunciation1. Let Ss read the conversation in Activity 1 aloud and pay attention to the question tags.2. Ask Ss to listen to the conversation and notice the question intonation. Then tell Ss the following tips of pronunciation:The voice rises when asking a real question, and falls when checking something you know .3.
