their parents All the sts started learning English in Grade 1 Primary School Most of them gain a considerably satisfactory proficiency in English while about 20 of them are afraid of English especially boys who are unwilling to memorize words and speak up in class Thus their productive skills are a little weaker than the receptive ones The overall aim for this week is to help sts know more about our surroundings and develop their ability of describing and comparing things by using PPP TBL and CLT approaches aimed at improving sts overall abilities as well as establish their confidence The topic for this unit is our Earth I will teach them the key contents of a whole unit over the 7 days 7 40 minutes lexis reading skills listening skills grammatical input writing skills This session deals with the grammar section of the unit using not as as allowing sts to practise comparing things from various perspectives after learning the comparative of adjectives Anticipated Problems and Solutions Very specific problems and solutions related to classroom management ProblemSolution 1 Mixed ability class Four students form a group involving weaker learners in strong students answers Use ICQs and CCQs to ensure all sts have understood teacher s instructions Use classroom management monitoring to ensure all sts are involved 2 3 Early lesson Warm up the class by
