说教材 1 Function and position of this lesson This period is from Go for it Section B Unit 10 Book 3 It s the fifth lesson In this unit students will learn to narrate past events And they will enjoy some stories happened on April Fool s Day Students will be interested in both of them Also they will be asked to tell some jokes It will arouse students great interest All those will be very useful to practice using the target language All the students will make great progress in narrating past events 2 Teaching objectives A Language ability Key Vocabulary announce describe panic set off Target language The reading passages about April Fool s Day Write stories happened on April Fool s Day B Ability to target Train the students listening speaking reading and writing skills C Emotional goals instructional aims of learning English in the Middle School is to cultivate students abilities of listening speaking reading writing and their good sense of the English language So in this lesson I ll mainly use Communicative teaching method and Task based teaching method I ll give the Ss some tasks To use these methods are helpful to develop the Ss thought Part Three Studying Ways 说学法 说学法 1 Analysis of the students Rural middle school students are relatively weak foundation The current polarization is relatively serious into a pyramid And a large part of students lost interest in learning English in a read state 2 Teach students how to seize opportunities and communicate with others in English 3 Cooperative learning not only can ease the tense atmosphere of study students are also conducive to the spirit of cooperation and sense of competition Let the Ss communicate with each other and adopt competition methods to develop the Ss keen interest in English Part Four Teaching
