The first one?S1:Its Change Benyue.T: How about the next one?S2: .T: Do you like stories? Ss: Yes. T: Today we are going to learn a Chinese story. I will show you another pictures and tell me what the story is.(show some pictures and let Ss guess what it is)Ss: 愚公移山T:Yes, you are right. We can say it Yu Gong Moved the Mountains in English. I know that you have learnt it in Chinese. Today we are going to learn it in English Step 2 Presentation 1. Read the story(listening material) in groups.2. Read the story together. The boys read the first paragraph and the girl read the second paragraph. Step 3 Show time1. Give Ss several minutes to make a conversation to retell the story2. Let Ss show their conversations.Step 4 Share the idea of YugongT: Just now we have learnt the story Yu Gong tried to move the mountains. What do you think of Yu Gong?S1: I think Yu Gong is silly.S2: I think Yu Gong is crazy.S3: I think Yu Gong is interesting.T: All of you have your own ideas and none of you are wrong. Every story has many sides and we can understand them in different sides. But the most important thing is that never give up when you face difficulties and try to solve problems by using different and useful ways.
