Student will learn some basic vocabulary and sentences about the weather. Before this class, students have learned some basic content about the Present Progressive Tense last unit, so the materials are accord with the students standard. Through learning this class, students will know how to describe the weather.二、教学目标knowledge and ability goals:1. master the new words: raining, windy, cloudy, sunny, snowing2. master the sentence structure: Hows the weather in .? Its . 3. Can use the words and sentences in this part to describe what the weather like.Procedure and method: To create a situation by showing the pictures about the weather on PPT, then let student to master the new words and sentences by group work and pair work.learning during working in groups moral goal: To start a conversation with English by talking about the weather.Junior student (grade 7) is vivacious and vibrant. They have strong personality and rich emotions. They are brave to show themselves and have strong curiosity. They feel that English is difficult to them, so it is important to a teacher to excite and cultivate students interest in English studying in order to let the students to be the master of study.四、教学策略选择与设计The participation-based teaching method will be used in this class. Theoretical basis: the American main editor of go for it proposes task-based language teaching. This theory propose “learning by using” which enhance the using of English and second language acquisition process.
