According to psychology and physiology, the students are very curious about new things and naughty during studying. Besides, the students have mastered some basic skills, such as listening skill, speaking skill and writing skill.Part 3 Teaching aimsBased on the textbook and new curriculum standard, the teaching aims come in three aspects. Knowledge aims1. Curriculum words: housework, Internet, program2. Useful expressions:hardly ever3. Target language:What do you usually do on weekends?I always exercise.How often do you watch TV?I watch TV once a week. Ability aims:By taking part in different class activities, the students should improve the abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Whats more, the students should use How often questions to talk about daily activities correctly and freely. Emotion aims:On the one hand, it is to increase the students interest and set up self-confidence in English study. On the other hand, the students should know the importance of group work and exercise. Part 4 Important and difficult points. Important points:1. Adverbs of frequency2. Phrases about daily activities: help with housework, use the Internet, ride a bike, watch TV,3. Learning methods:The students will learn in a relaxed atmosphere, and they will master the new language in certain degree through the mental process of seeing, hearing, saying, observing, thinking etc. At the same time, the students will pass “ObservationImitationPractice” to study new knowledge. Enjoy a piece of short video called Exercise song.Purpose: arouse the students interest in this class; introduce the topic of this classStep 2 Presentation1. Play a Guessing game to present the phrases about weekend activities.2. Show a group of photos of the teacher to introduce Adverbs of frequency to the students.3. Present three Schedules of the teacher to introduce the second way to express the frequency.Purpose: to help the students to master the basic knowledgeStep 3 Listening and practice1. As for 1c, listen for the first time to write the activities next to the correct frequency words; then, listen for the second time to repeat sentence by sentence.2. As for 2b, listen for the second time to match the activities with the correct frequency word.5.
