It points out that the main purpose of the oral English learning is to communicate with others. An important order of the elements about spoken English should be precise, fluent, appropriate. The accumulation of the vocabulary, accurate English pronunciation practice , developing the habit of independent thinking and the confidence of speak English bravely become an important asset to practise oral English.Key Words: oral English learning; thinking in English; accurate pronunciation; express confidently.摘要：本文主要针对口语学习中遇到的问题论述英语口语学习的方法与技巧，指出口语学习的主要目的是与别人进行交流，英语口语中的几个要素的重要次序为：流利，准确，恰当。词汇量的积累，准确的发音练习，养成独立的英语思维习惯以及自信大胆的表达成为口语练习的重要法宝。关键词：口语学习；英语思维；标准发音；自信表达 1. IntroductionWith the development of society and progress of globalization, it has become more and more important to learn English well especially for people who specialized in English. So we college students should be more active to achieve our goals on the way to learn English, especially oral English. Then we can apply it to communication with other people and it will be more practical for our future teaching career. But we do encounter some problems when we try to speak it out fluently. Once you determine to do it well, nothing will fail you.2. Problems of Oral English Learning2.1 Lack confidenceIn oral drill the students who always tend to remain silent and refused to speak English(张瑞波,2009(16): 173+175). Many students dare not speak out rather than can not speak out . Because students in China have adapted to the pattern of test-oriented education, most of the students even do not know how to pronounce a word correctly. Then they make mistakes. The more mistakes they made, the less they will open their mouth to pronounce the word loudly. It will become more and more difficult to learn oral English well without more practice. Lacking confidence is a very serious problem. It limits some students developing in English.2.2. Bad listeningBecause students addicted to writing exercise, they ignore the practice of listening. This stopped students from getting more chance to speak. Oral English has become a burden on students, there is no interests in both listening and speaking. Under the influence of the tongue, many countries and regions of the pronunciation is not very accurate , even the native English state and local accent as our tongues in different areas. For example, the Scots have generally dropped some syllable, Australians take the today as todie, a lot of New Zealand people pronounce set as sit. There is no doubt that these factors make listening more difficult to deal with.2.3 Lack school and social environmentAn advocator of communicative teaching about language 欧莱特 thinks that succeeded in learning language lays in an actual language social situation. This is the only way to train students to form the ability to judge whether the language is appropriate or not and the ability to combine the context and understanding linguistic form and meaning. But our students are very limited to the chance of making contact with the real English social sense. (陈宁,2009(16):155) 2.4 Limited the calculation and use of vocabularyWhen students want to express themselves but only to find it is so difficult to find a word to be used. Maybe because they have not remembered the right words, maybe they do not know how to apply the words and the phrases to a proper situation. It seems that what they have learnt can not work well. In fact, it is a very common problem and it is the easier one to overcome. Vocabulary should be fully used instead of setting it aside. You can begin with the easiest one, then the use of simple words becomes another to be settled problem.2.5 Chinese thinkingThis is the most difficult disadvantage to overcome for Chinese people. It is deeply rooted and firmly planted in our minds. With the influence of Chinese thinking pattern, it causes many jokes and brings the disadvantages. It contains many mistakes, such as the grammar, the order of the sentence.e.g. 你能替我把这信息告诉她吗？W: Could you tell her the message for me?R: Could you take the message to her for me? (余剑,2008(01)3. Skills and methods for oral English learning According to the problems, we can come up with many resolutions. If every English learner pays attention to the common distinctions, oral English will not be so difficult. It is not an illusion to communicate with others even with foreigners.3.1 To know the culture differences as much as possible“Chinglish” is the most popular phenomenon among Chinese learners .The way of thinking, views on value, expressing habits etc. are to help find a short cut in English studying.(冉秀霞, 2004(03)In order to avoid Chinglish, it is useful and helpful to understand and learn about the cultural differences between English Idioms and Chinese Idioms. It can help us to get rid of the big barrier to understanding the original English and Chinese literature. (李卓,解丽丽, 2005(05) So one must knows the culture better.3.2 Speak outNo matter it is right or not, speak it out bravely and always be confident for yourselves. You can try the methods as following:Finding a partner with you . You can express yourselves mutually. The English corner is a good place in which we can practise our spoken English though it is a very old method. We can communicate English learning experience with each other. It will help broaden you horizon and improve your interests in learning English. Apart from it, you must seize every possible chance to prepare a speech and perform it in public. Do not be afraid of making mistakes.If you can not find a partner or the opportunity to English corner is rare, there are many ways you can practise your colloquial. For example, you can create an environment by yourselves. You can describe what you are doing and the scene you see.If we can read English loudly (just as the clapper talk and crosstalk actor practises his mouth). With a candy in the mouth will help to intensify our efforts and strengthen the training. Little things can always make great efforts. 3.4 ImitateIt is very necessary to imitate for English learners. When you are listening to the radio, you can imagine you are the master; when you are seeing the film, you can imagine you are the main character. This can attract your attention to phonetics and intonations. Imitating can cultivate language intuition and provide a language situation. When you see Forrest Gump, you can imitate the parts you like. Many students are too ashamed to imitate how people in the film talk with each other. Overcome the shyness is the first step. Then it is vital to practice more and more.3.5 Thinking in EnglishThis is the most difficult part to break through. Thinking in English is not translating Chinese into English directly without any change. Put the word into an English situation.Firstly, read the text smoothly. When you are too familiar with the contest you can have a try to translate it into Chinese and do the same thing into English. Make a comparison and find the difference. The only problem is it needs much more time and patience. The advantages are you can enjoy practicing as long as you can without being quitted and there will be always a senior teacher, the texts points out the mistakes. The wide subjects help us to break our thinking limitation. For example, we always like to talk about the topic we are familiar with and we also talk the same thing with the same structure of the language even the same words. As a result, you plunge yourselves into it but the progress is slow. Select the novel and humorous story or better articles for read, we will have plenty of interest to persevere. Some pure English we neglect in the direct study of the text will be exhumed. You are so impressive to learn from the mistakes. There is a more practical way: three people into a group, one speaks Chinese, one speaks English, another one acts as a foreigner. After a period of practicing, exchange the roles. There is a very good method to practice translating and learn from each other.
