Among his great fictions, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is the most celebrated one. This thesis mainly discusses the images of Huckleberry Finn as a rebel against civilization, as a pragmatist and as a defender of morality. By expounding the images of Huckleberry Finn, this thesis aims to explore Mark Twains writing intention behind characterizations.,Research Methods,Close reading Literature review Case study within the framework of formalist criticism,Aim and Objectives,The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is one of Mark Twains best novels, which is comparable to all the long novels that Mark Twain has written.
