Ask Ss that how can we express our strong feeling about sth, for example: 多么漂亮的花园啊!If Ss cant say that,tell them that we can use an exclamatory sentence to do it in English.2. Get Ss to look at Part A(p62) and go through it . Try to find out what the structures of exclamations are.3. Ask Ss to give some examples. If they cant , put forward to the structures directly.a. what + a/an + adi + n( C&S ) + s + vb.what - + adi + n( UC&P ) + s + vc. how + adi + s + veg) What an interesting book it is! Work out the rules: We use a noun phrase after what to form an exclamation. We use an adjective after how to form an exclamation5.
