Teacher plays a piece of music-Micheal Jacksons Heal The World.2. Ss talk about the idea of the song and Micheal Jackson with the teacher.3. Ss talk about their favorite singers, songs and the reasons why they like the songs or the singers.Step 2 Leading in 1. Teacher sums up the songs that most of the students like, then lead in more kinds of music, especially “Country Music”.2. Show some pictures of country music singers. Pay more attention to the girl in the middle, lead in the topic “A country Music Song Changed Her Life Forever”.Step 3 Before reading1. Ss listen to the tape player and pay attention to the words about names for people and places.(Nashville, Tennessee, Country Music Hall of Fame Museum, Garth Brooks.)2.
